Chapter 4 Best performance ever

It was my turn to perform now.
The lights off and the music starts to played. One by one the lights on and the spotlight focused on me.

"I've performed like it was the last performance of my life." After my performance i've got a standing ovation and a loud applaused from all the judges and audiences.

"I can't get rid the smile on my face. I a'm very proud of myself at this moment."

I bowed down and exited myself through the backstage. My schoolmates keep saying that i'm going to win in my category. It's really obvious because all the crowd loved my performance even the judges.

After all categories from pop dance to folks dance done to performed. It's time for the announcement of winners.

All my team mates we're gathered together in our spot. We listen to the M.C as he proclaimed the winner.

"First category Pop dance."
3rd place goes to?
"Boston University"
2nd place goes to?
"New York  University" that was our school.
And the Champion goes to?
"Los Angeles University"

Everytime the M.C announces the winner the gymnasium bombared with loud sounds of applause, the other are screaming and shouting in joy and happiness, as well as us.

"Now it's time for the Announcing the winner for Dance Sport Category ."

3rd place goes to?
"Kingdom High University"
2nd place goes to?
"Los Angeles University"
And the Champion for the Dance Sport goes to?
"New york University" that was our School again.

Now this time in my Category the Ballet Solo.
3rd place goes to?
"Kentucky University"
2nd place goes to?
"Los Angeles University"
And the Champion for the Ballet Solo Caterogy goes to? "No other than The New York University".
The crowd once again cheered and my team mates congratulated me.

And the last category the Folk Dance Category.
3rd place goes to?
"Miami University"
2nd place goes to?
"Asian University"
And the Champion for Folk Dance University goes to?
"Los Angeles University."

All the winners please come up to the stage to get your trophy and cash prizes. Also for the picture taking.

After the receiving of awards and picture taking. The M.C once again get our attention.

"Excuse me Ladies and Gentlemen may you lend me your ears first." The crowd keep quiet and turn thier attention the person on the stage.

After this program we have a party held in Holiday Inn Hotel. Only the winners and runners up are allowed to go to the party. Outsiders not allowed to enter.

"All the winners and runners up please be there for the party and please wear the appropriate clothes for the party. The party stars at exactly 7pm."

After that announcement. It's already 5pm we got back to the hotel. I go straight to my room to have a quick shower and get dressed up.

I check the time on my watch and the time 6:45pm. The party will be start at 7:30pm. I still have time for myself.

The party it's just here in the hotel at ballroom. So i don't have to worry becoming late.

I decided to wear my green lacy tube cocktail dress with black belt in the waist line and gold high heeled sandal with strap around my ankle. I put my hair in a low tied bun and loss some little strand of my hair in the side. I put some light make up and a lip gloss. (Try to view the picture in the multimedia above.)

After fixing myself i got out of my hotel room. I saw my other team mates and schoolmates walking on the lobby. I go to them and we decided to get inside the ballroom because it's already 7:25pm.. 5minutes before the party starts.
