~Sarang's P.O.V~
"Here drink this." Minwoo said as he passed me a glass of warm water and went back into his room.

I was at Minwoo's apartment and I have to admit, it was pretty cosy. It was a relatively big apartment, with white and dark grey walls contrasting the simple furniture and decorations. Overall, it looks nicer than my apartment.

I scanned the apartment once more from the couch as I was too afraid to move. I mean, it's my first time in another person's house, furthermore it being a guy's house.

I sighed as I sipped the warm water, letting it provide me with more warmth other than the big towel that he gave to dry myself, which I did and proceeded to wrap it around my body.

"Sarang umm I don't really have other clothes for you to change in and I could only find these." Minwoo said as he approached me with a set of folded clothes in his hands.

"Ahh it's okay I was just about to..." My voice faded away as I stared at the window. The rain was so heavy that I could not even see the opposite buildings.

I pouted a little as Minwoo chuckled.

"The rain really does not like you. I can let you sleep overnight if you want. I mean you don't want to go out it that kind of condition." He said and handed me the set of clothes.

"No mom I'm fine. Yes it's just for one night. NO I'M NOT GOING TO A BAR WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!" I conversed with my mother over the phone about how I was going to stay over at a friend's house due to the rain.

Minwoo was kind enough to lend me some of his clothes, a simple t-shirt and a pair of sweat pants, which both looked oversized on me.

"Okay bye mom love you." I said before hanging up the phone. I sighed and walked out of the guest room.

The rain was still pouring and showed no signs of stopping. And no matter how much I refuse, I have no choice other than accepting Minwoo's offer of staying over at his house.

I made my way to the living room where Minwoo was, scribbling something on his notebook. He noticed my presence and looked at me, immediately trying to suppress his laughter.

"Hey I don't look that ridiculous. And it's your clothes might I add."
"No you look adorable. Have a seat." He said and patted the space next to him on the couch.

I complied and sat next to him on the sofa. He closed his notebook and placed it on the coffee table in front of the couch.

"What's that?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Oh just some position line ups I'm arranging. The carnival is really giving me a headache. Other than the booth, we also have to perform as and opening segment for the carnival. So, new song and choreography. All by next month." He told me, heaving a small sigh at the end.

"Well is there anything I could do to help?" I asked.

Minwoo just smiled and told me not to worry. And as a freshman, I should enjoy everything in TMAA before I become a senior.

We sat there quietly as we watched the rain fall endlessly and listened to the sound of the splashing rain. After a while, my eyes wandered off the pictures hung up on his wall. There were pictures of him and Boyfriend, pictures of him and his classmates, and one which seems like an old family photo.

The photo was clearly taken years ago as the colour was a little faded. But I could make up a small boy in white with a lady and a man behind him, all smiling brightly with the backdrop of a garden behind them.

Minwoo must have noticed my staring as he finally spoke up.

"Those are my parents. That photo was taken when I was around 9 years old on my birthday. We had a garden party to celebrate." He said, also looking at the photo.

"Must have been fun. I've never been to a birthday party before. Nor have I organised one." I replied.

"Yeah. It was." His voice drifted off as he stared at the floor.

"Wh-what's wrong Minwoo?"

"Nothing. It's getting pretty late. You should go rest. There's still school tomorrow." He said, standing up and offering his hand to me. I took it and pulled myself off the couch.

I thanked him for letting me stay and made my way to the guest room, closing the door behind me.

Walking towards the bed, my heart suddenly started to beat very fast. The fact that I'm staying over at Minwoo's house has sunken into me, and I can't help but worry about tomorrow morning. What's going to happen? And how am I going to go to school?

I pulled the blanket up to cover my body and closed my eyes, letting myself and my thoughts melt away into slumber.

~Minwoo's P.O.V~
I watched as Sarang made her way to the guest room and closed the door. I sighed and fell back into the couch.

I stared at my family photo that was hung up on my wall, memories of that day rushing back into my mind.

Tires screeching, lights flashing, and a loud crash between metal and metal. Rain poured down onto the chaos, as I tasted my own blood and felt pain I never knew a person could experience.

Through blurry eyes caused by tears, I saw glass shards sticking into my mother's beautiful face, creating tracks of blood that flowed down her face like my tears. I saw my father slumped onto the steering wheel, blood rushing out of his head.

How could a young boy suffer so much pain on her birthday? Both physical and emotional. Feeling pain throughout his whole body and watching his parents' lives slip past his own fingers.

I cried, trying to call for help but nothing came out. All that were produced were sobs.

I licked my lips and looked back at the rain.

A/N: HEY I'M BACK FROM THE DEAD! Hahaha I'm so sorry for not updating at all. Like my preliminary exams just finished and in one months time I'm gonna be taking a major exam. But to compensate for me not updating in like 3 months(?), I'll be posting 3 chapters including this one. The other 2 will be posted tomorrow so look forward to it.^^

XOXO
