Frost

Professor Sycamore and Frost talked a little longer, Paladin paid them  no mind. Professor Sycamore crossed his arms "Are you sure about this?" worry was on his face "You remember what happened to Blaze, right?" Frost looked down "... Don't remind me about Blaze..." he picked his head up "Please..." Professor Sycamore uncrossed his arms and put a hand on Frost's shoulder in an attempt to comfort him. He pushed his hand off "B-besides, Kin and Ayane have been just fine," Frost pointed down "They are two of the few that have a Mega Evolution, and if they can, I believe I have discovered the Chesnaughtite!" Professor Sycamore frowned "Well then... at least promise you'll return him, we haven't-" "Figured out how he has those move?" Frost interrupted "He's just special, that's all, besides," he looked at Paladin sleeping on the pillow on the desk " Let him be a normal Pokémon for once, he needs the love and friends, not scales and cages." Professor Sycamore sighed " Then at least promise that you'll return him?" Frost picked up Paladin,"I'll think about it." and went into the elevator. The movement of the elevator shook Paladin awake. He jumped up and saw Frost staring out the elevator window, the door slid open and on the other side was a Greninja and a Delphox "Aaaaaah! It's a Delphox!" Paladin screamed "Save me!" he jumped into Frost's coat. Frost pulled him out and placed him on the table "Paladin, there's no need to be scared! This is Kin," He pointed to the Delphox "and this is Ayane," He pointed to the Greninja "They're your friends, there not here to hurt you." Paladin looked skeptically at Kin, Kin held out a paw "It's nice to meet you." Kin said sweetly, Paladin shook her paw "Uh-huh..." he looked at Ayane. Ayane was studying him, he guessed. After an awkward silence, she spoke "So you're a Chespin?" the words slithered from underneath the tounge/scarf on her mouth "Yeeah?" Paladin replied uncertainly. Ayane uncrossed her arms "You're so small and cute," Paladin blushed "I don't understand why my kind is so afraid of you." Frost smiled "I know we just met, but I have to go, Ok?" he looked at Paladin, He nodded "Kin and Ayane will keep you out of mischief, got it?" Paladin nodded, Frost walked outside. after a couple of minutes, Paladin asked Kin "Is Frost mean?" Kin nodded "The contrary, his the sweetest, most caring human I know." Kin put her paws together held them near her muzzle, closed her eyes, and sighed. Paladin asked Ayane the same question " He is a nice human, but doesn't stay in one place too long," Ayane fixed her tounge/scarf "Right now, he's giving children that deserve Pokémon a Pokémon, I would say that's very nice, wouldn't you?" Paladin nodded in agreement.

*A few hours later*

Ayane and Kin had decided to take a nap, Paladin was too interested on the T.V. Frost came back, and what Ayane said was true "Hey, Paladin! Ready to head out?" Paladin nodded vigorously. He returned Kin and Ayane, and held out his hand for Paladin, He lumped on his hand and headed straight for his hoodie. Frost walked outside, and the city's air hit Paladin like a Giga Impact, It's so crisp and clear... , Paladin thought to himself, Why hasn't Professor Sycamore let me out before?! He looked out to where Frost was walking, they were headed towards , what Paladin guessed, was a Pokémon. It was laying down like a canine, but looked like a cross between a lion, dog, & tiger, its mane was black, but it's face was orange, like the rest of its body. The fur and its tail were the same color, but not like the mane. Frost had walked up to it by now, and it stood "Paladin... I'd like you to meet... Arceus the Arcanine." Arceus stood and nodded his head at Frost, then he looked at Paladin. He was too scared to act when Arceus looked at him "Little one, Thou hath great power! Why doth thou refuse to grace us with thy presence?" Paladin looked at Arceus "...Wha?...." Frost picked up Paladin " I should probably start with, Arceus is about 500 years old." Paladin shook his head and looked at Frost "Then... How old are you?!" Frost smiled " Don't worry, I'm not that old." Arceus shifted his weight "Frost, we need to get moving to the Battle Chateau before the Black Writ of Challenge wears off!" He barked "Oh yeah..." Frost slipped Paladin into his hood "Hang on... we're gone go really fast in a short amount time, Ok?" Paladin held onto his hoodie. Frost hopped on Arceus and pat him on his head " To Camphrier Town!" within seconds, Arceus bolted forward moving at Extremespeed. Paladin was thrust against Frost's hoodie, and within the next minute,

they had arrived at Camphrier Town.

Paladin climbed out of Frost's hoodie and landed on Arceus. He wasn't sure weather to be happy or to throw up, he climbed off of Arceus and chose the latter. When Paladin had returned, Frost had apparently went inside the Pokémon center " Did thou get sick?" Arceus said, laying down "Thou art just like fair lady Kin! The fair maiden did what thou had just done after said arcane run!" Paladin shook his head "I won't even ask..." as Paladin stopped shaking his head he looked up at a strange glowing upside-down squid "!IH" It yelled "?SRUOY S'TAHW, TNEGREVID SI EMAN YM" Paladin fell back in shock "Wha-what?" "She said 'Hi! My name is Divergent, what's yours?'." said another voice behind him he looked behind him to see a sword in a sheild with wings "You can understand... her?" Paladin glanced at Divergent "I understand her plenty... are you the new Pokemon our Frost was talking about?" Paladin nodded, then jumped when Divergent had yelled "!YLIMAF EHT OT EMOCLEW" and hid behind the sword " I'm Despot, what's your name?" she giggled "Paladin..." he mumbled, watching Divergent. Despot put one of her ribon like hands on Paladin's head "You don't need to be scared about Divergent, she's very nice, she's just... Unique..." Paladin laughed a little "Yeah... I can see that..." Paladin had walked over to entrance of the Pokemon center to wait for Frost, until Arceus had stood up "Come, Master Paladin! We have much to do." Paladin walked around the corner and saw Frost standing at the fountain in the middle of the town. Frost turned around "I was wondering where you were!" He knelt down and handed Paladin a Lum Berry "You won't be battling, but you should keep it just in case." Frost smiled and Paladin smiled back "Come on," He stood up and pointed west "To the Battle Chateau!" They  started walking west, right when they got  to the sign that designated Route 6 from Route 7, someone had yelled out Frost's name from down Route 6. A brown haired girl,in some type of dress, carrying a basket full of flowers, was running down the dirt road waving at Frost. He stopped and waited for her. When she arrived, they quickly embraced eachother. Paladin, who was actually riding Arceus, asked about her. "She is Frost's wife, her name is Cherry." Paladin tilted his head "Cherry? What kind of a name is that?" "In the region of Johto," Arceus started "There is a city that values tradidition called Ecruteak, Cherry was born under a cherry blossom and was given her name,and as tradition went, any daughter born under a creation of nature, like a tree, was destined to become a traditional dancer for the Protecter of the  Ilex forest, Celebi, and would be granted eternal life, in order to keep the tradition going, paying homeage to the protecter to ensure that Celebi, the forest, and the lands and cities in the region would last an eternity." Paladin nodded,"Then... how old is she?..." "About the same age as Frost." ,Arceus awnswered. "How old is he?..." Arceus thought for a second, "I'll start with, Frost's aging process has slowed down, and he looks 15 years of age." Paladin tugged on Arceus' fur, "That doesn't make any sense..." "Having fun?" Paladin looked up at Frost and nodded "Well good, Let's keep going!" and started walking again.
