Don't they say love changes people? I believe that to be true. When you love someone you just get excitement. Some people get more excitement.
I tried my best to keep that away. But when you let it out and become someone different, it changes everything. I sit here looking at my reflection not knowing who is on the other end of it. "I can't fix you." He says.
Days turn into weeks that turn into months that turn in to years.
A year and 7 months. My longest relationship that came to an end. Not in a pretty casual way either. I became someone he didn't want. Someone different.
Crying for weeks and not leaving my room was too much. He said I kept in my feelings too much but I showed that I loved him. Why couldn't he accept that? It's not like I changed everything about me.
I know live in downtown LA as a singer. Not a big superstar though, but I do write my own music. Mostly country. I'm currently writing a new song and guess what it's called. 'I Can't Fix You'. Ironic I know.
I've got new habits. The bad kind that I don't feel like explaining right now.
Perrie left because she was fed up with my shit. My other friends we'll we don't talk much anymore. Only on some occasions.
My sister worries too much. It bothers the hell out of me. No one gets me anymore except him. No, not Connor.
I said his name. I wish I hadn't. He's caused everything that's happened to me. I've got an elastic heart though so that's okay. I think...
3 months after the break up was all it took. To get me in my habits and him.
But that's a different story.
~Sutton Edwards.
How did you guys like the epilogue? Any guesses on the new book title? It's two words that were said numerous times in this. I had a blast writing this and getting to a thousand reads. Hope you all join my in the sequel. Much love.
