Prolouge

Luna's p.o.v:

"Come on Solar!" I shout to my twin sister. "Coming" She shouts back. I laugh as she runs over with Mulcibur, our adopted brother. As we walk a man walks over with a knife. He then grabs Solar and holds the knife to her neck. I gasp and he says. "Give me all your money or the girl gets it!" I give him my only 10 pounds and he looks at Mulcibur.  shakes his head a no and the man laughs evilly and disapparates. I cry and slap Mulcibur. I run home and when he gets home he tells his mom i sold Solar to the man. My mom then kicks me in the ribs after pushing me down.

   After the beating I pack my stuff and run.

   That was the day I became emotionless. I then found my birth family the Malfoys. They love me and care for me. Cissy and Bella love me and Lucius cares for me. I tell them about my twin and we all mourn her. Most say that the Malfoy's and Black's are mean but they are very kind and gentle just don't get on their bad sides. After they took me in I met Sirius. He looked at me and for some reason smiled. "You aren't sticking to pureblood laws are you?" I shake my head. "Never." We smile and become fast friends. He is like a brother to me. I tell him about Solar and he promises he will help me avenge her. That night before Sirius left we hear a scream. I run to the voice and see a horrible sight. It's Solar. All bloody and...dead. I shake my head and burst in to tears. Sirius cradles me and my real mum allows him to sleep over. "I will never let you get hurt like that again." I smile and fall asleep in his arms.
