Broken

Broken. That's what I am. I'm broken. As I finally stand I grab a little wooden chair from next to the table and slouch down on the chair. I drop my head in my hands and sigh. The kitchen is old, the wallpaper is peeling and there are cracks in the tile. The glass shards still lay on the floor. I pull my head up and stare at the glass shards in sadness. Then I slowly walk over to a broom resting against a wall and grab a dustpan too. I walk back to the glass shards each footstep echoing throughout the large empty room.
