Shattered. The glass shatters as it hits the hard tile floor. Glass shards litter the floor. The hanging lightbulb flickers. It shatters my heart harder then the glass. Her face, a buffet of emotion as her fists clench and as she grits her teeth. She storms out, kicking pieces as glass as she does. Our lives were never going to be the same. Tears spill from my eyes like a waterfall and blood gushes from cuts from the glass. But I don't care, it doesn't matter anymore. Nothing matters anymore. As my vision goes blurry from tears I collapsed on the floor no longer able to stand. I sit in the corner under the cover of darkness, tears streaming down my cheeks but it still does not matter.
