-Oops ! he yelled.

I sat again and looked at him, quite amused but a little bit grumpy. He looked at the mess he had made and shrugged, turning his glare at me. I didn't see culpability in his pretty blue eyes, just indifference. He walked to the couch and sat next to me, slightly pushing my shoulder with his.

-So, are you doing good, today ?

I nodded. I obviously wasn't doing okay and I knew he could see it by the deep dark circles under my eyes, my red nose I got from crying too much and my too skinny legs. But he didn't really care. About anything, actually. I bit my lip. He turned the TV on and put the volume up. I wasn't even watching the emission, my eyes were wandering around the room, my glare evasive.

I heard the door open.

-Hi, guys !

A hurricane stormed in with a big smile and hands full of groceries. Josh turned his head to face our guest.

-Hi, Nora.
