Shelby's P.O.V
It was a little while later and I haven't transformed.I was scared.And the others told me not to record,which honestly was pretty smart just in case it happens.
That's all my mind was fixed on.I looked down at my necklace.I smiled.The music that I forgot about played in the back.I went to my bookshelf and grabbed a book.I sat down and started reading it.
The door opened but I was to lost in my story that I didn't realize that Adam came in."Hey Shelby."I almost jumped out of my skin.I dropped my book on the ground.
Adam started laughing and so did I."What do you need since I'm technically off for the day.",I said smiling.He was holding mason."Do you mind watching mason for about an hour.Alesa left and she can't come and get him.I have to leave and I know it's a huge favor but-""I would love to do it.",I exclaimed.
He smiled and handed me mason."Thanks you're the best got to go bye.",he said quickly.He shut the door.(Ps this is when mason was a baby.not baby baby but before he could walk)
I sat down in my chair and bounced him on my leg.He made a cute baby noise and I squealed.
His eyes were closing and I knew he was getting tired.I didn't have anything for him but I think I had the best quick baby idea ever.
I put a pillow on my beanbag and rested him on it.I put my fuzzy sweater that I had accidentally left there yesterday on top of him.
I started reading my book again.It was a little while later and mason started crying.I didn't have anything to feed him with so I had to figure out something else.
I started to panic because he started crying harder.But then it clicked and I knew exactly what to do.I grabbed my guitar and sat right next to him.
I started singing.(I made this song up on the spot so I tried and plus I couldn't find a good song on YouTube)
The sun is setting now.
And the moon comes out to play.
The stars are shining bright.
There's a shooting star flying by.
Daddy told me to make a wish.
So I wished that tomorrow wouldn't bring the rain.
Cause when you're cooped up.
In a small little house.
It feels like time goes past so slow.
Every second,every minute,feels like an hour has passed.
I don't know why it's like that.
But in the night.When its quiet.
It seems like time flies by.
So just close your eyes.
And I promise that tommorow will be a sunny day.
I looked down and realized that mason was fast asleep.I put my guitar back on its stand."Wow."I jumped.
I turned around to see a girl leaning against the doorframe.She had auburn hair that curled at the ends.She was wearing a red plain shirt with a white jacket wrapped around her waist.A pair of converse and a bracelet.
Which almost exactly what I was wearing.I was wearing my hair down.A white shirt and a plaid red jacket around my waist.I had on a pair of black sneakers on.And of coarse my heart necklace.
"Whoa sorry.i didn't mean to scare you.Oh sorry you probably don't know who I am.I'm Harper and I work here now.I couldn't find Adam and I heard you singing and,you're actually really good.",she said.
I blushed."thanks.Oh do you want me to show you around?",I asked.She was muttering something I couldn't hear."I'm sorry what was that?""Oh!Nothing!",she exclaimed.I started showing her around the office but she didn't seem too interested.Something was not right about this "Harper" girl.
