"Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell."

Far beyond time....
In an eternity has past an ancient age...

The horizons burned from the battles waged across a world long overcrowd by a demoralized race.
Despair...
The endless screams of hopelessness and grief . The flames of conflict scorched the land, leaving naught but ashes and desolation. The years passed as the war raged on.

None could remember what sparked the conflict. None could recall what they were fighting for. What's more, none had sought to end the struggle, despite the lack of any logic or reason to it. Instead, another means was created to continue the endless strife... War machines... Single-Minded entites born and bred for battle. An Inexhaustible army that would continue waging a war in the stead of its creators. Humankind retreated from the field of battle, replaced by steel engine's of destruction.

A endless supply of warriors for an enternal war...

War machine against war machine, blasting each other to atoms in the blink of an eye.
Logic-circuit awareness flash-fried to oblivion... Scattered oil bleeding through grinding gears... In a war where pain ceased to exist, each machine pressed on until it was reduced to scrap.

But it didn't end there --

Man introduced yet another revolutionary marvel of technology into the arena: an artificial intelligence Android

Heavily armored and geared for self-maintenance the android's longevity bordered on Immortality. But what set it apart from previous war machines was its combat-oriented artificial intelligence. This firstborn son of a war-torn Eden was christened "ADAM" by its creators.

An army of ADAMs was unstoppable, their passage leaving nothing but death and destruction. With the coming of ADAM, it wasn't long before the war ended . Nothing could withstand the android horde. Once the final enemy fell before the invincible android force, no opposition remained. ADAM brought the war to a close.
But discontinuation of hostilities signaled what might have been the end for the ADAM unit's. For without an enemy to direct their fire at, they were soon to be considered obsolete.

But as they we're  driven from their battle-scarred Eden, mankind provided ADAM with a new stage. The androids were to perform in a Cage, a dark arena of everlasting combat where hope was destined to be a forgotten memory...
