Kyungsoo was pulled from sleep by the pressing of lips against the exposed skin of his neck, the warmth bringing his mind into reality and out of the grogginess of his dream. With a small smile, he rolled over and further into Jongin's arms, nuzzling his face into the other man's chest with all intentions of falling back asleep. It would be so easy, let unconsciousness take him again and just relax because he'd been too high strung for so long. But, it seems, Jongin had different plans and he's not stopping. Kyungsoo had to roll away when hands found their way up his shirt, tickling against his sides to wake him all the way.

"I hate you," Kyungsoo grumbled playfully, peering over at Jongin who was sporting a wide grin.

"Well come here and I'll take care of that," Jongin teased, opening his arms wide so Kyungsoo could roll back in. Being the mature adult, Kyungsoo merely stuck out his tongue and slipped out of bed instead, destined for the bathroom because the steady thrumming of his bladder wasn't going to go away on its own. Apparently Jongin wasn't going to go away either, joining him in the bathroom only to have Kyungsoo screech and smack him over the head with a towel. "You owe me breakfast," the younger man whined from the floor.

"Is that all you can think about? Sex and fooo - oh crap." Kyungsoo turned and nearly tripped over Jongin in the process. "CB!"

As panicked as Kyungsoo was and despite the many horrific scenarios that played out in his head, the actual minimal destruction in his apartment was surprising. CB had scrambled halfway up Kyungsoo's leg the moment he stepped in the door and he had a hell of a time plucking claws out of his jeans before they pierced through skin. She was frantic and he was doing everything he could to calm the mass of fur in his arms while simultaneously checking his furniture and possessions for signs of damage. He was pleased to note the worst of it was on the newspaper he'd left on the bathroom floor.

Jongin all too happily took CB from Kyungsoo's grip, using the opportunity to lavish her in affection as Kyungsoo went about refilling her food and water bowls.

"You only love me for my dog," the older man grunted, watching with narrowed eyes as Jongin buried his face in the puppy's neck.

"Not only," came the muffled reply and Kyungsoo refrained from throwing something at the pair. Jongin clipped the leash on CB's collar and they disappeared out the door, leaving Kyungsoo with jittery hands and a stupid look on his face that wouldn't go away.

Jongin and CB didn't get back until after Kyungsoo had finished cooking breakfast, his stomach reminding him ever so gently of his lack of food this morning. All three of them devoured their meal without much thought, the happy sighs of a full belly settling around them once plates were clean and a pot of coffee was brewing in the kitchen. And because eating was such a strenuous cool down after a walk, CB promptly passed out squeezed between her food bowl and the wall, legs kicking haphazardly as she slept.

Kyungsoo sat on the couch, turned to the side so he could properly face Jongin. "So," he began with a lot more confidence than he felt. "We should talk."

"Yeah?" Jongin started with a grin as he slid closer. "I was thinking we should go to bed."

Kyungsoo slapped away the hand attempting to grope his thigh and scooted back out of range. "Jongin, I'm serious. We need to talk about this - about us."

It appeared the younger man was going to give up as he slouched onto the cushion, gazing steadily at Kyungsoo. It sent a fresh wave of uncertainty through his body and he suppressed the need to shudder. "I don't see the reason. I love you. You love me. Talk over." Jongin lunged and this time Kyungsoo didn't see it coming, leaving him on his back, pinned by a very happy man.
