After the Storm

"Ah! Fuck!" Jack winced as Signe put an ice pack over his eye.

"Make sure you don't move it for a little bit, okay?" She said as she laid on the couch beside him

"You sure you don't want to go to the hospital? Other than that shiner, your ribs could be broken!"

"NO!!!!!!!!" Jack's voice boomed and echoed through the house louder than it normally does.

"I mean, no. I can't. You know I can't. I don't want... him to hurt anyone else like he did to Matt and Ryan."

"How do you know that was him? It could've been anything else!"

"Yeah like the wind." Jack muttered and rolled his eyes.

"I heard that you big hurt baby!" Signe smiled and slapped his shoulder. "But I know that this... thing is the reason why you don't want to go to the doctor."

"It's just too dangerous. Besides, I have to record more videos."

"Oh, you and your vids!" She sighed. "I can't stop you from that, even when you're hurt!"

Signe got up from the couch and gave Jack a smooch on his cheek before hitting him on the shoulder and leaving for the kitchen.

"You know, people are gonna realize that you're hurt. Just like some people realized about Antisepticeye. Especially with that black eye." She peeked from the kitchen.

"That's just something I'd be willing to risk." He smiled. "Besides I can put on some sunglasses to hide the black eye for now. I'll tell people later all about it. Just so they won't worry about me too much."

"Okay... if you say so. If you need me, just scream."

After a few seconds of silence, Jack let out a blood curdling scream that almost shook the house. Signe came running out with a dish cloth in hand and stared at Jack.

"Just checking!" Jack widely grinned.

Without warning, Signe's dish cloth hugged his face. She smiled and went back into the kitchen.

"Go record your vids. Just don't get too rage filled."

"Please! When do I get too rage filled?" Jack smiled and then started to head to his recording room until he realized what he just said. "Don't answer that question, by the way!"
