Farouk's POV

I bed Maama, Goggo, and Daada good bye before leaving.

I met my guards waiting at the parking lot. The back door of my YFR labelled black Limo was opened, with a servant waiting for me to enter so that he will close the door.

David was in the passenger's seat while I sat At the Owner's. 4 other cars followed mine. Two in front of us and two behind.

At Gidado road, we drove into the compound of Alhaji Abbakar Sani. My dogarai strolled out quickly with their usual gyara kintsi.

Like 6 to seven maids welcomed us, and we were ushered into this beautiful guest room. I made my self comfortable on one of the sofas. As my guards surround me. Sitting on the floor.
Different kinds of foods and drinks were presented. One of the maids went in to let the girl know that am here.

I made my self busy with my phone and in the process trying to come up with sn Idea to dodge this arranged Marriage if I don't like the girl.
Even if I like her, I just dislike the idea of arranged Marriages.

I wonder when she's going to be out. Seriously I hate waiting.

"An gaishe da 'yar gatan Yareema!
Kaga larabawan Asali Fulanin Usuli. Barka da shigowa gimbiya Amna" i heared my men welcoming her. Before they all excuse them selves to let us have some 'privacy'.

I lifted my head to look but
wasn't able to make out her face. She was still standing as my men continue to leave the room. So, I acted as if I never knew she's present and continue to touch my phone. Even though I so badly want to see who this girl is.

So finally, she kind of composed her self after sitting down and I heared this cool voice muttering

"Ina wuni? (Good evening)"

Majestically, I looked up from the screen of my phone and that was when our eyes met.

Allah Allah!!

PARROT???

What the Jahannam!!!

NO! NO!! NO!!!

She was busy smiling sweetly. OK Farouk, you have to act cool. Kar ta rena ka. That was my conscience.

"Lapiya" I responded ever majestically.

"Small world it is. So, U were the Farouk everyone has been talking about. Farouk the 'prince' " she said, air coating the word prince.

"Yeah" I said

I swear am not in the mood for a chit chat. No!! Interview rather. She talks too much. I have to leave. I . Have. To. Leave. SOON
