as I turned the corner I saw Chris, as I waved she ran towards me, that's abnormal, she normally waits, I don't know what to make of it, I let her come, and I wait, she tries to stop but runs into me, but she doesn't blush, she gets up, perfectly fine and walks off, I watch her confused as she walks off, I brush myself off and when I look up from my shoes,the world morphs around me and suddenly I'm in a bikini at the beach, I'm confused, either way I just walk into the water since that's the only thing I feel like I can really do, I see something, I don't know what I saw but it drew me toward it, it was a light pink and it was a cube shaped figu-
My cell phone ringtone went off and I woke up, I looked at the phone, it was Chris, I slid the 'answer call' button thing and she seemed surprised,
"Jasp, you're awake? at 5:00 A.M.? since when,"
"you woke me up, whatcha need?"
"oh sorry .." she sounded embarrassed "I just wanted someone to talk to, I can't sleep, I don't know why, I already got ready for school, and the dining hall is closed for another hour,"
"let me get ready and ill come over k?" I asked her
"okay, see ya soon," she said and hung up
I got in the shower and got dressed, this time in a dusty lemon yellow shirt with salmon pink stripes on it and light sky blue denim shorts the same length of the ones I wore yesterday, I brushed my hair and got my bag I made sure everything was in it and grabbed my key to my dorm, when I got out I locked it and made my way towards Chris' dorm, I wasn't used to the halls being this empty, I turned into dorm hall D, that's where Chris' dorm is mine is in hallway H, I reached her dorm and knocked on the door, when she answered her face was dull, when she saw me she lightened up, she let me in and we talked passing the time
"sooo Chris I heard your mom was going to visit soon," I asked
"she said she would but she's my mom and she might have something come up right before she can come, I know she doesn't do it on purpose but it just happens," she said, she was obviously hurt
"sorry I brought it up, I was just curious .." I said kinda upset at myself,
"no no no! I didn't mean it like that! I'm sorry that you thought that,"
"heh its fine Chris," I checked the time, 5:57 "anyways we should get down to the dining area it'll be open when we get there,"
"yeah, you're right, let's go," We started down and when we got there it was 6:14 Chris and I sat down at our table and talked, laughing, people were starting to wake up and file into the dining area
"Hey Beautiful," someone said, my head snapped towards the source of the voice he was referring to Chris, I shot him a glare and looked him over carefully, Blond hair down to his ears, green eyes, and pale skin, I knew him instantly, The new kid from yesterday, he literally in the middle of math class got up and left the room, the teacher didn't even act like he noticed, his name is Kyle Degarso, Chris' face turned beat red and she looked embarrassed I stood up taking the matters into my own hands, I grabbed Chris' arm and she nodded at me standing up, we made our way to the Library, Kyle wasn't far behind, when we reached the library Chris and I turned right into it, we went to the table her and I always reserved, we sat down and were talking about the books we had checked out, then Kyle sat down at our table half-way through our discussion, Chris had the teacher approve our project, so we didn't have any researching to do, I scowled at him and stood up to put the two books away but Kyle grabbed my arm and wouldn't let me go, I pulled away and gave Ms.Richelle my books and Chris and Me headed to the dorms, towards mine. when we got to my dorm Kyle was still following us, I unlocked the dorm and let Chris in, after following in myself I closed the door, refusing to let Kyle in I texted Em, Freddy, and Marshy in group text about what was happening to me and Chris,
Texts:
Jasper: guys remember kyle? He is at my dorm trying to get in to me and Chris
Em: What??? ugh this is why i don't trust boys.
Freddy: Em!! how do you not like boys?!?
Marshy: Yea! WTH how?
Em: Bcuz im not some perv 13 yr old little girl
Jasper: Shut up all of you!
Freddy: Soz
Marshy: Sowwy
Em: sorry
Jasper: can you guys come help??
Freddy: Im already on my way :P
Marshy: sorry can't, im at the book store for a book called PlaceBo Junkies
Em: I'm with Marshy
Jasper: okay, Freddy just hurry up!
Freddy: I was in my dorm and its in hall Z just hold on a sec
Freddy: im at hall S ill talk to you when i get there.
Jasper: k
Chris and I sat on my bed waiting when we heard Freddy's voice, we let out a sigh of relief, till we heard her flirting with him.
