3. A crazy trip..

*Minjoo is getting ready to meet up with Jaeil..*

Minjoo's POV-

Today has been such a crazy morning! Where do I start?! Well, I didn't wake up so well so I guess that kinda messed up my morning.
I had COMPLETELY forgot that I had to wake up early to make it on time. Then, I couldn't find my suitcase that I was gonna put all of my clothes in so I legit threw everything in my sight to try and find it as soon as possible; I then realized that everything was already packed since I had done it the night before and that my suitcase was right beneath my bed. So obviously I was pissed, since I had searched my apartment for like 30 minutes just to find that I had stressed for no reason.. (note: the time is 10:34 and I was already late to meet at Jaeil's house... )
I then made my way over to Jaeil's house, on bike I should say, and speedily made my way avoiding all obstacles that could come my way. My forehead was already beading with sweat and my legs didn't feel any better. I had worked  out a little before bed so my legs were extremely sore and biking at full speed wasn't making me feel any better than before. I was almost about to give out around 2 blocks before Jaeil's house when he saw me and noticed how tired I was.

"No wonder you're late, you look like you just woke up!! *giggles* Let me guess, your alarm didn't go off?"

"No.. I had forgotten to charge it so it's out of battery right now lmao. Can we go now? Considering that I was late getting to your house, being late to the boat dock won't make the sailor any happy about having to be off his schedule." I playfully teased him. The boat was supposed to start making its way back to the main part of the country around 11 am leaving us about 10 minutes to find a cab and make our way there in time. Anytime I'm with Jaeil, we always end up being late to whatever it is that we're going. Probably because I'm always the one who's late hehe.

"Good idea i don't wanna piss off the sailor and have him tell my dad or my dads old boss since these tickets were practically a gift and my dads boss rarely ever gives him gifts like this anymore" Jaeil made a slight frown and began to look on his phone for a taxi cab number. " Annyeonghaseyo? Yes I need a cab over here near Myeong-don and Garugo-sil Street. Thank you and please come as soon as possible I'm running a little late and I kinda need to leave in about 3 minutes..." he laughed as he ended the call for the taxi and as soon as he looked up from his phone he saw a bright yellow car turning around the car nearing towards them... "Well that was pretty quick!! I'll be sure to give him a good review online and give him a nice tip :) "

About 10 minutes later~

We ran as fast as he could with our luggage in our arms towards the boat. I could feel the weight of the clothes I bought the day before and it was starting to dawn on me that I might've over packed for a 4 day trip.. Oh well!!
Out of the corner of my eye I see Jaeil extend a hand out and without hesitation, i grab it and give him a smile as i nearly trip. "Holy shit! Don't worry I'm fine I didn't even fall, keep going I think I see the ship!" I laughed.
We kept running until we reached the baggage check area.
" May I see your bags m'am?" The security guard politely asked. He looked as if it was his first day on the job since his face looked young and his eyes practically showed the whole world how nervous he was. From what I could see, I'd assume he was like 18 or 19. I placed my bags and Jaeil's onto of the table and watched our bags pass through the Baggage check machine. He then opened up a suitcase to make sure that we didn't smuggle anything onto the boat that could hurt the captain or any other boarding passengers. I smirked to Jaeil and whispered in his ear
"I'm gonna flirt with him and see if he gets shy or if he goes along with it. I just wanna make him blush hehe" Jaeil giggled in agreement and pushed me closer to him. "So, how long have you been working here? I can't imagine all the crazy things that must happen on the job..?" I curiously asked him with a playful smile.
"It's actually my second day of working here so not much has happened yet" he blushed as he fidgeted with the luggage tag on Jaeil's suitcase.
"Maybe it's a good thing. I think it just means you'll remember me fondly since you haven't encountered too many people yet.." I smirked
"I should leave you my number so we can keep in touch" I could start to see a look of confusion form on his face as he looked up.
"Are you sure you should be flirting with a guy like me in front of your boyfriend? I mean you seem like a really cool and pretty girl but I don't want to stir up any problems between you two." he blushed. I immediately found myself getting sweaty and choked on my piece of gum.
"Me and my boyfriend?!! This is my bestfriend whom I love very much but I'm sorry we're not dating.!" I immediately blurped out as I tried to stop choking. I looked to my right and found Jaeil squirming around on the floor trying to keep himself from laughing. His face was like 50 shades of red from both the embarrassment and the realization of how badly the flirting had flopped.
*in between bursts of laughter* "That seriously. Failed. Oh fuck. My stomach hurts so much. Help. Me out!! I can't get up!!" Jaeil practically screamed as I tried to get our bags down from the table. I just wanted to run and escape the embarrassment.
"This seriously flopped"I laughed to myself.
" Oh my goodness, I'm sorry, *laughing* I seriously thought you two were dating or something since it's just you guys going on a trip amd you seemed to be really close." He joked out of his realization of what Jaeil was laughing hysterically about. " But if you were being serious, I wouldn't mind talking to you during my spare hours..." he shyly smiled. He passes his phone over to me with a new contact page open so that I can put my number in his phone. Since I'm too nice to deny his phone I enthusiastically typed in my number and continued acting like i was a flirting god or something and slid his phone back to him and winked to him as I helped Jaeil up.
"I'll be sure to text you later on today. I want remain in contact ;) " I could just feel the moisture of my clammy hands from how nervous/ awkward I sounded. I cringed as I walked off with Jaeil towards the ship. I'm not sure if I was actually gonna text him later on but, time will tell right?
