Alright so, I'm going to make this as painless as possible. PLEASE be advised that these rules will change as I see fit. However, I will notify you whenever there is a change in the rules , and I will ask you to let me know that you've acknowledged and understood them.
001. Format: In this club, you will be put into groups of four. The first week will begin once I have three groups of four. I will declare the group full when I have three groups of four. Since there is only one moderator, it wouldn't make sense for me to take on more than I can handle. Depending on how this club takes off , depends on what more I will add.
002. Maturity: The only thing I'm going to say here is : Don't be an asshole. If you are, just don't be an asshole towards other members...COOL? If you feel the need to do so, speak with me , and I'll be the asshole if it's warranted. Otherwise , just please keep it to yourself.
003. Activity: I would like to say this. I am a working 26-year-old adult. I'm a correctional officer and I work twelves. I'm not going to be on every waking hour of the day. My schedule is pretty great, every other weekend is a three day weekend for me. This is another reason I'm creating this book club. I hate having to take hiatuses from other book clubs because of my schedule. Now, with that being said, any time you need a break or anything PLEASE let me know before I add you to an assignment. We're adults, let's be considerate of our fellow members.
004. Comments: Okay, we are going to leave actual thoughtful comments. I'm not going to give you a certain length that your comments have to be. I shouldn't have too. Again, we are adults and the purpose of this club is to give criticism and feedback. Be considerate. Treat people how you would want to be treated. This should go without saying.
005. Joining: Does everything sound good? Great. So I'm going to have a form in the next chapter. I use Google Forms. It's super easy. Click the link and fill it out. Please fill out every line. Then, when you are complete with that task comment " done" and vote for the Form chapter. I will Private message you back if you are accepted. If for some CRAZY reason you are NOT accepted, I will give you a reason why. I will require you to follow the BookClub account and add it to a reading list. Those two things MUST be done before you are accepted.
