The door to the bathroom squeaked open. "Red with black stripes or black with blue diamonds?" Jack questioned. I turned around seeing two ties in his hands. "The blue diamonds match your blue suit jacket so go with that one." I pointed out. I bent down to my suitcase grabbing two pairs of heels. "Okay, now my turn. The nude heels or the black heels?" I asked dangling both pairs of heels from my fingers. "Black for sure it matches my tie." Jack winked. A laugh escaped my lips as I shook my head. I laid the nude heels back in my suitcase. Falling on my butt, I secured the heels onto my feet. "Make yourself useful and help me up." I stated sticking my hand out for Jack. Shaking his head he took my hand and pulled me up onto my feet. "Thanks." I smiled sliding the keycard into my purse. "Ready?" Jack asked holding the door open for me. "Yep!" I smiled walking through the door towards the elevator. I heard the clicking of the door locking behind me as I walked onto the elevator as Jack leant forward pressing the ground button. "So where exactly are we having supper?" I asked. "It's in the banquet hall instead of the restaurant so there're no fans." He explained getting off the elevator. I followed him off the elevator and down a long hallway. He stopped abruptly causing me to walk into him. "Sorry." I whispered. "Ready?" Jack asked looking down at me. "Of course I'm ready there's gonna be food in there!" I laughed as Jack pushed the door open. Walking into the room the smell of steak and cologne hit me like a brick wall. "Jack Eichel!" An older man exclaimed walking towards us. "Hey, Coach McLellan it's great to meet you!" Jack smiled shaking coach McLellans hand. "Oh and you must be Kaliann! We're very pleased to have you joining us for the next couple of weeks!" Coach said sticking his hand out. "My pleasure! I'm looking forward to all of it!" I smiled shaking his hand. He pulled his hand away and walked over to another player who had just walked through the doors. "Kaliann Eichel! Who would've thought I'd see you here!" A voice exclaimed from behind me. I spun around coming face to face with Dylan Larkin. "Dylan!" I exclaimed pulling him into a hug. "It's so good to see you again! Are you still coaching?" Dylan asked. "Yep, I'm still coaching! If I have it my way then I'll be coaching till I die." I laughed a little too loudly. "So I got bunked with Johnny Gaudreau and you'll never believe the story he told me." Dylan smirked. "Oh yeah, what story did he tell you?" I asked rolling my eyes. "He told me about this girl he saw at the front desk today. He said she was the most beautiful girl he'd seen in a while and guess what he said her name was." He said wiggling his eyebrow at me. "Oh I don't know but please tell me." I joked feeling my cheeks heat up. "Her name was Kaliann Phillips and I thought to myself 'hmm where have I heard that name?" He said. "You didn't tell him what my real name is, did you?" I asked feeling my eyes go wide. "And miss the shocked look on his face when he sees you tonight? Never." His eyes locked on someone behind causing me to turn around. "Speak of the devil." Dylan muttered in my ear sending shivers down my spine. "Kaliann, hi! What are you doing here and how do you know Dylan?" Johnny asked. "Oh! Kali and I have known each other since the all star weekend! Her brother and she stayed in the hotel room next to mine. That's actually why she's here tonight isn't it, Kali?" Dylan smirked send me a devious look. "Uh yeah actually my brother is playing for the team so I decided to keep him company for the next couple of weeks." I said rubbing the back of my neck. "But there's no one here with the last name Phillips." Johnny stated furrowing his eyebrows. "Well my name isn't actually Phillips that's my mom's last name. My real name is Kaliann Eichel as in Jack Eichel's twin sister." I explained my gaze meeting the ground. "Well I definitely see the resemblance between Jack and you but why did you lie about your last name?" Johnny asked rubbing his forearm. "Do you remember the Sochi Olympics and how there was the figure skater who won gold but broke her ankle, pulled a hamstring and also hit her head?" I asked him taking a deep breath. "Of course I do my family and I watched the whole thing happen." He stated sending me a confused look. "That figure skater was me. When Jack and My's careers started to take off we agreed that I would take my mom's last name so that we were never in each other's shadows." I explained bring my eyes up to meet his. "Ohhh I see." Johnny said shooting me a smile. "You know we should probably talk to other people too." I laughed causing Johnny to laugh as well. "Honestly I'm just surprised I held a conversation with a female for this long!" Johnny exclaimed causing me double over out of laughter. "Well, I'm with the team for the next couple weeks so you'll need to get used to it." I smiled looking up to meet his brown eyes.
