"I'm so sorry" I kept saying I was still sitting on the floor. "Laura come on get up" Edward said trying to lift me up, "no leave me alone" I shouted and pulled away I wanted them to go away I wanted everyone to just leave me alone maybe I can lie about killing John the gang might just leave. I stood up I was still stumbling Edward held onto me "Laura please just tell us what happened" my Mam asked concerned John stood up also "I was just trying to scare John I didn't mean for all this to happen" I lied everyone sighed in relief hearing my story. after making sure I was okay getting ready for bed my parents left but John stayed he knew I lied he knew what I was on about he knew I wasn't messing "why did you lie?" he asked sitting on my bed "I have no clue what you're on about John" I didn't look at him "you're lying. I know you ran into that gang they won't hurt you I promise" he looked at me "what gang I wasn't with a gang I was with Ava" I was trying to convince him "stop lying harry texted me to say that you had ran into him and Gary forced you to drink and wanted you to kill me" he'd found me out was Harry the boy with blonde hair why would he text John what's going on. "no point fooling me Laura you don't know what's going on I'm not who you think iam" he said looking at me with a serious expression I looked up at him shocked "what do you mean John?" "Laura I'm an agent I'm working undercover that's why that gang want me dead I was pretending to be part of them but they found out and want me dead because I know too much" I couldn't believe what I was hearing today has been so eventful I wish it would just end "is Harry an agent too is that why he texted you where I was" I asked John nodded his head "but they never found out". so this is why he stopped Gary (the leader) from hitting me and that's why he gave me a reassuring smile it all made sense.
