This is a poem I wrote after the May 22, 2011 tornado that ran through Joplin Missouri. Several of my friends and families homes was destroyed. Me and my family had been lucky that the tornado didnt hit out house. Alot of the students from my middle school wrote poems and stories about the tornado, and alot of the poems and stories got published in the book "Scars from the Tornado." I am publishing my poem from the tornado for all of you to read. I just hope you guys who read this will appreciate what you got. Your family wont be with you forever, so you need to love them while you got them.
