A few days later...
There's a knock on my door just as we sit down for breakfast. I get up and answer. Two men in police uniforms are waiting outside.
"Are you Miss (y/f/n)?" they ask.
"Yes," I answer.
"According to his parents, you were the last one to see Lee Jaehwan before he went missing five days ago."
I tilt my head in confusion and glance back into the kitchen, where you are happily eating cereal.
"He went home to take a shower about three days ago. He's been here ever since."
"We need to see him ma'am," one informs.
"Of course officer, come on in," I tell them, opening the door, "He's right there in the kitchen."
They come in.
"Are your parents home?"
"No, my mom's dead and my dad is away on a business trip, he'll be coming back tomorrow."
They nod and enter the kitchen, but then immediately draw their guns.
"What are you doing?!" I cry.
"Ma'am, would you care to explain why the dead body of Lee Jaehwan is in your house?"
"What?!"
