I stare at the water where you fell in, panic overtaking my mind. You fell in. You fell into the water.

I begin to hyperventilate and run down the side of the river.

I see you getting up out of the stream dripping wet. You were covered in dirt and blood. But I don't care.

I run to you and throw my arms around you.

"I'm so sorry!" I cry, snuggling into your chest. Tears escape my eyes and fall onto your white shirt.

Your strong arms wrap around me without hesitation.

"It's okay," you soothe, "I forgive you. I'm not upset. Let's go home now though."

"Okay."

You keep your arm around me the whole way.
