21. Whoever reads the Qur'an and is proficient in it, will be with the honorable and obedient ambassadors (the angels).

22. One who recites the Qur'an, and experiences difficulty in doing so will get double the reward.

23. In Surah 'Abasa, Allah says, "On the day when a man will flee from his brother his mother, his wife and his children". The day of Judgment will so severe that a person will run away from his closest relatives.

24. The Qur'aan orders us to repent sincerely to Allah because frequent sinning affects the heart negatively and leads to Hellfire. In this regard the Prophetﷺ said, "Verily, when the slave of Allah commits a sin, it causes a black spot to appear on his heart. If he repents, his heart becomes smooth (clean) once more, but if he continues sinning, the black spot spreads."

25. Ibn Mas'ood said, "Whoever loves the Qur'an, loves Allah and His Messenger."

26. In his book al-Fawaaid, Ibn al-Qayyim stated that there are 5 types of abandoning the Qur'an which are all censured. He said, "Forsaking the Qur'aan is of various types:
(a) Refusing to listen to it, believe in it, or to pay any heed to it.
(b) Not acting on it or abiding by what it declares to be lawful and unlawful, even if one reads it and believes in it.
(c) To forsake judging by it and being judged by it, be it in the fundamentals of the faith or its branches; and to believe that it does not beget sure knowledge.
(d) Neglecting to ponder over it or comprehend it; not seeking to uncover what the Speaker intended by it.
(e) To leave seeking a cure or healing through it for the various diseases of the heart, but rather to seek healing for such illnesses from other than it."

27. It is advisable for the Imam to recite short Surahs or passages of the Qur'aan so as not to disadvantage the sick, the travelers, or those who need to do some urgent things.

28. During the Jumu'ah prayer the Prophetﷺ would recite Surah al-A'la and Surah al-Ghaashiyah.

29. In Surah al-Fajr, Allah says, "By the dawn. And ten nights." The ten nights here refer to the first ten nights of Dhul Hijjah. Regarding these days, "The Prophetﷺ said, "There are no days whose deeds are more loved by Allah than these."

30. Surah al-Fajr verse 17 states, "No, but you [for your part] do not honor the orphan." This verse contains an implicit command to honor the orphan. The Prophetﷺ said, "The best Muslim house is one in which there is an orphan who is well- treated, and the worst Muslim house is one in which there is an orphan who is ill-treated."
