10. Girlfriend.

"So Tia tell me, how can a pretty girl like you not have a boyfriend?" Tia laughed. "Well Dean, I do have a boyfriend." Dean's face showed a hint of disappointment, but only for a second. "How comes we never see him then?" "He's...erm...always working during the day."

"Right...so when can I meet him? Tonight? Bring Olivia and her boyfriend too and I'll bring Sam." "Do I not get a say in this?" Tia laughed. "No, meet me at The Bronze at eight. See you then!" Dean walked off, leaving Tia stranded.

Tia called Olivia to come get her. The car ride home was awkward until Tia broke the silence. "Olivia what's wrong?" "Nothing." "Olivia you're my best friend, I know when something's wrong. You've been distant lately." "Well the path of a slayer is a lonely one."

Tia sighed. "Don't give me none of that cliché slayer bullshit." "I've just been confused lately that's all. I haven't been feeling myself lately."

"Oh. Anyway me, you, Spike and Angel are going to The Bronze tonight." "Why?" Olivia groaned. "To meet Sam and Dean." "Oh that should be fun!" "I hope so...more awkward than anything don't you think?" "I guess."

Tia and Spike walked hand in hand to The Bronze with Angel and Olivia trailing behind. Angel went to take hold of Olivia's hand but she pulled it away. "What the hell Liv?" "You have sweaty palms..." She made up an excuse on the spot. Angel sighed.

They all walked into The Bronze and Olivia's face lit up when she could see Sam from a distance. She rushed over to sit in the seat next to him. "Hey Sam." Sam greeted her with a small wave.

The others sat down around the table. "Guys this is Sam and Dean." Tia pointed to Sam first then Dean. "And this is my boyfriend Spike." She kissed Spike on the lips passionately. "Spike? What kind of a name is that?" Dean couldn't contain his laughter.

Spike shot daggers at him. "A cool one, better than 'Dean' anyway." Sam coughed awkwardly to break the tension. "So Olivia who's this?" Sam gestured to Angel. "My boyfriend Angel." Olivia said bluntly. Sam shook Angel's hand. "Nice to meet you." "And you. So Sam do you have a girlfriend?"

"I did have a while ago. Her name was Jess...but..." Olivia looked hurt but urged Sam to go on. "Well she...she died basically. It was a while ago and I've had time to move on but I guess I don't like talking about it still."

Olivia rubbed Sam's back sympathetically. "You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. Sam why don't me and you get the drinks in?" "Yeah sure what does everyone-" "Actually why don't me and Sam get the drinks. I invited you out tonight so I should pay for the drinks." Dean got up and led Sam to the bar.

"Dude I forgot to ask what you found out about the slayers." "What in the book?" "Yes dude in the book!" "Well..."
