16. Love.

Sam was confused by Dean's remark. "Disappointed? Why? I haven't done anything wrong." "That's a lie now isn't it Sammy?" Sam was still confused as to what Dean was going on about. "I heard you! I heard everything! It wasn't pleasant and it kept me up." Sam made an 'O' shape with his mouth as the realisation sunk in.

"Yeah you understand now don't you? Why Sam? I specifically told you to stay away...and what do you go and do? You have sex with her! You had one job Sammy...one job."

"Dean I didn't mean to! It just kind of...happened." "Just happened?! Dude you made it happen! You got undressed and did the deed man. Own up and take the blame." Sam didn't say anything. He just stood there; speechless.

Sam stood there for a few seconds more before breaking down into tears. Dean was left very confused. "Sam? Sammy...?" "I...love...her." He said between sobs. "It's not love man. It's the spell."

"No the spell would make her love me not the other way around. I feel as though she loves me too. Not just because of the spell. When we...it was magical Dean."

"Magical?! No, unicorns are magical not fucking sex. Sex is pleasurable not magical." "Ugh I knew you wouldn't understand! You've never felt anything remotely close to love in your entire fucking life!"

Sam didn't know where this anger came from, only that he had to get it out. "Yes I have..." A small voice answered back. Sam was unsure if it was actually Dean as it sounded scared and vulnerable; two things Dean never was.

"What?" A confused Sam said. "I mean I am..." Dean started pacing the room. "I know she can't love me back...she's with him? That doesn't mean I can't try...right?" Dean was speaking out loud but he was more talking to himself rather than Sam.

"Dean who are you on about?" Dean had forgotten Sam was in the room so he sat on the nearest chair and started explaining. "It's...Tia...there I said it. I love Tia, I finally said it out loud."

"Why didn't you tell me?" "I've...never loved anyone before. Except family but that's different. Ugh you son of a bitch, you brought this out in me. I was happy to sit by the sidelines."

"You need to tell her! She needs to know." "She needs to know?! Dude we need to kill their boyfriends. They're never going to love us after this." "Dean...we don't have to...do we?" "We need to Sam."
