Lucy's PoV

After I killed Lynn, I went back to the back yard and washed her blood off of me and my knife. I walked inside, dripping wet, and ran into my room silently.

I changed clothes and let my hair dry itself while I resumed reading my poems.

I opened my eyes and heard a commotion out in the hallway. It sounded like Luna, Lola, Lana, and Lori.

I got out of my bed, my knife in my sleeve again. I opened the door and it creaked.

"...dead!" Luna cried.

I walked over. "What's going on?" I asked.

Luna turned to me, her eyeliner streaking down her face with her tears. Her words came out fast.

"I was going to practice my guitar solo in the garage and all the doors were closed... a-and I when I walked in... L-Lynn... she was... was...-" Luna sobbed hard. "Lynn's dead!"

I faked a gasp. "Well, what do we do?"

Lola snapped her fingers. "I'll go tell Lincoln!"

"I'll come with." I volunteered.

Lola led the way to Lincoln's room and shoved the door in. Lola climbed onto his bed and shook his shoulder.

"Lincoln! Lincoln, wake up!" she yelled.

Lincoln slowly opened his eyes. "Nghh?"

"Lynn's dead!" she wailed.

Lincoln shot up, sending Lola tumbling to the floor. "What?!"

Lola shook and cried, and I stayed quiet.

"Show me." he said grimly.

I nodded and Lola looked up. "Can I come?"

"Sure." I said. The knife pressed against my skin.

I led the way downstairs without anyone else noticing. Lincoln and Lola followed close behind, silent.
I walked into the garage and flicked on the lights. Lola and Lincoln gasped at Lynn's badly damaged body. A pool of dried blood surrounded her, and the smell was terrible.

"I...I'm going back." Lincoln muttered, walking back out. Lola started to follow, but I stopped her.

"Lola, can you stay with me to investigate?" I asked. She looked like she was about to argue, but I added. "You seem good at identifying things."

Lola reluctantly nodded and walked over to me, kneeling down in the dried blood.

Quick and painless, or strangulation?

I chose the second one. "I need to do something, you stay right there."

"Okay." she said.

I turned and closed the door. Lola looked back at me when she heard the click.

"Lucy...?"

I brushed my hair out of my eyes, exposing my blood red irises. She backed away at the sight of them, and I inched closer.

"Poor, poor, Lola..." I purred. "Too young for this world. Just another obstacle."

She pressed against the wall and I wrapped my hands around her neck tightly. She tried to scream, but I slammed her head against the wall, knocking her out.

I kept strangling her until I couldn't see her chest rise and fall. I pressed my ear against her chest, hearing no heartbeat.

Two down...
