"

And you say your sister," The blonde police officer pointed to Lucy's body. "Killed your other sisters?"

Lincoln nodded and wiped the tears off of his cheeks.

"How did she die?" she asked after writing something down on a clipboard.

"I fought her with an axe." Lincoln murmured.

She wrote that down. "Did she attack you?"

Lincoln shook his head. "She wanted to kill my sisters, but she didn't want to kill me. I lost control during the fight."

The officer glanced up at him for a second before looking back down at her notes. "So you killed her to protect everyone?" she asked.

Lincoln nodded, he couldn't trust his voice.

She nodded. "Thank you, boy." She turned and headed towards Lori, who seemed to be blank, unlike the crying and wailing Lily in her arms.

After the funeral for all...

Lincoln stared down at the five coffins below him. Tears streaked down his cheeks for all of them, even Lucy.

Was this his fault? Lucy had said she did this for him... What did that mean?

"We need to bury 'em." a deep, rusty voice said from behind Lincoln. He turned around and wiped away his tears. "I'm sorry about your sisters."

"Can I have a little more time?" Lincoln asked. "To say goodbye one last time?"

The grave digger nodded and walked away, leaving Lincoln to say his farewells.

He walked to the smallest coffin -  Lola's. He bent down, more tears flooding down his cheeks. "Goodbye, Lola. You were a great princess, but an even better sister."

He walked past the next smallest grave. He would save her for last.

Next - Lynn's coffin.

"Goodbye, Lynn. The last hour or so I spent with you was amazing. I promise I'll visit," He looked up and down all of the coffins,  even the one he skipped. "All of you."

He walked to the second largest coffin - Luna.

"Goodbye, Luna. The best rock star ever, I will never forget you."

Lincoln then trudged to the biggest coffin and bent down. "Goodbye, Luan. You put up a fight to protect me and the others, your fight will never be forgotten."

Finally, he walked over to the one coffin he had skipped.

"Why did you do this, Lucy? Why did you kill them? No one would be gone, we would be happy..." Tears spilled on her coffin. "Well, goodbye, Lucy. I'll miss you."

He gently laid two roses on each grave. One white and one black.

With that, he turned away, took a shaky breath, and let the digger bury them.
