Chapter 35

It was the finale night, meaning it was the final head of household competition of the summer, caleigh knew she had to be the one to win this.She had to get to the final two, there was no other way. She wanted to win and she hoped if she got to final two they would vote for her.

The first part of the final head of household was happening right now, everyone was neck and neck, Caleigh was trying so hard along with the other two houseguests.

It was a endurance competition, which was cool, in the very end, Caleigh won meaning she went straight to the final round, then Derrick and Cody competed in the second head of household competition, to see who would go against her in the final round for head of household.

She rooted for Cody but Derrick ended up winning the second part of the head of household competition so that's when she got a bit worried. Since if he won she thought for sure he would take Cody, instead of her.

So far on the scale they were standing on, they were tied and whoever got to five first one and they were 4 - 4, she took a deep breath and thought for a moment after Julie asked the question she then locked in her answer.

She glanced over at Derrick, who gave her a reassuring smile before looking back ahead, "Derrick you are incorrect meaning Caleigh you are the final head of household of the summer!" Julie exclaimed.
Caleigh's eyes widening as the scales started to go down so they could get onto the floor.

" Oh my god. Oh my god. " She whispered repeatedly as Cody and Derrick hugged her and they headed inside, she had to make a decision right then. They headed to the living room. Cody and Derrick sitting in the nomination chairs.

Caleigh stood at the head of the living room. " Caleigh please announce who you are going to evict." Julie instructs, Caleigh took a few deep breaths nervous as hell.

" Derrick, I love you as a person, you played an excellent game. You were so loyal to the Hitmen and honestly I think you are part of the reason I'm standing here still. But I'm so sorry. I'm going to have to evict you." She said, quickly but sincerely, everything was happening so quick—it was absolutely insane.

" Derrick you are the final person evicted from the Big Brother house. Please say your goodbyes and head out the front door. " The two stood up and hugged Derrick.

" I'm so sorry. " She tells him "It's okay, don't worry about it, honestly. " Derrick spoke with a smile, pulling away as he then hugged Cody and then headed out the front door.

Derrick walked onto the stage, cheers filled the stadium, he smiled as he hugged Julie. " Derrick please take a seat. " She tells him, as he sat down on the stool.

" So Derrick, are you surprised you are sitting here, being the last one evicted? " Julie asked. " Not really, I knew if Caleigh won head of household, she was obviously going to take her ride or die, Cody. I have nothing against her and I know her and I are going to be friends outside the house. " Derrick smiled.

Julie nodded, " Well Derrick with that you are now the last person in the Jury, we will see you in a few moments with the other jurors. " Julie said.

Derrick nodded and then got up and headed back stage. Caleigh and Cody inside sitting in the nomination chairs. " Wow. " they both said quietly.
It was so surreal, her heart was racing a 100 miles per hour, she felt like she had a chance to win 500k, she looked at Cody, the two were holding hands.

They were waiting for Julie to come back on the screen with the jury to answer their questions. Once she did the Jury was sitting on their chairs there was one empty one, so Julie can reveal who the final evictee was "Well Jurors, the final person joining you is... " She trailed off dramatically.

"Derrick come on out!" Julie called out, as Derrick came walking back onto stage as the Jurors looked quite surprised they were expecting Cody. He sat down on the white stool next to Frankie, "Okay it's time for the Jury's questions, Caleigh and Cody. " she informs, looking at the two who had matching nervous looks on their face.

" Okay, Jocasta you are first. " Julie said, " Okay, Caleigh why do you think you deserve to win more than the person sitting next to you? " Jocasta asked.

"Okay, I think I deserve to win since, I made strong game moves, I had a okay social game, and I was loyal to a lot of the people in the house. I stuck to my word. " Caleigh states, Jocasta nodded.

The next question was from Hayden and it was for Cody,the questions went so on and so on. Now it was time for the vote. This was where it was time.

The Jurors went up one by one to vote for who they wanted to win, Julie then went up last now to reveal the votes, " Derrick's vote goes to...Cody. " Julie said, The two nodded. " Frankie's vote goes to...Caleigh. "

"One vote Cody one vote Caleigh. Caleb's vote goes to...Cody. " this is when Caleigh started to get a bit nervous.

"Christine's vote goes to... Caleigh....Nicole's vote goes to...Caleigh. " Julie announced putting Nicole's key in Caleigh's vote slot. " Donny's vote goes to Caleigh... " she then put that in the voting box too. " Zach's vote goes to...Caleigh. " she put that in the voting box.

" Hayden's vote goes to... Caleigh. Meaning Caleigh you have won Big Brother 16! " Julie said, Caleigh's mouth dropped as she jumped up "Oh my god! " she exclaimed, as she hugged Cody as she then went running towards the doors.

Then opened them then opened the other ones swinging them open confetti going everywhere " Oh my god! " she exclaimed as Cody walked out behind her.

" Oh and America's favourite houseguest, it was a close vote between Caleigh, And Donny, and Donny you won by several votes! Congratulations!"

"Congrats Donny! " Caleigh smiles to him as she hugged him. "Thank you sweetheart. " He responds with his accent as she smiled. "Well that wraps up Big Brother 16! We will see you next summer! I'm Julie Chen and goodnight! " Julie said as Caleigh kissed Cody, confetti still raining down on the stage.
