I watch Sage try and speak to Acorn, try and purr and rub against him but he shoves her away, lashing his tail and spitting insults at her. Sage's ears flatten and she stops in her tracks, other cats passing by her. Sage eventually slowly walks again, tail dragging behind her.

I hate seeing my mother be abused like this.
