The Fifth Wave Fan Fic

Chapter 1

We didn't want this to even happen. We read about it as a fairy tale and we all thought it was fake. It was in our books. We've seen movies. But we all thought it was fake till they came. In our books it said "they" came in waves. There were a total of 5 waves. The first wave was an E.M.P (electro magnetic pulse). The second wave came in the form of a tsunami that destroyed everything. The third wave came as a deadly plague that wiped out 97% of all human life. The fourth was a group of aliens came down and killed any humans they found and they were disguised as humans, they were named silencers. The 5th and last wave was they took kids and brain washed them to kill humans.

         We were studying what happened in class when suddenly we heard a crash out side and all the lights went off. My phone wouldn't work either. Who am I, I am Anthony. I'm 16 years old and I have a twin sister named Kaelynne. We all thought it was a prank until we saw an airplane fall from the sky and crash in a classroom.

         The first wave had come, but this time we were prepared. Later that week me and Kaelynne (Kea) were out picking Apple's by the lake. "The water!!" yelled Kaelynne. We both ran and climbed up a tree. The second wave had come. There was no more green anywhere.

       Then mom started to not feel good. We took her to a medical field (there were no more hospital's due to the flood). Later on that month, she died. We didn't get to say goodbye to her.

       The government has all the houses evacuated and took us to a safe grounds area. They loaded all the kids on a bus for their safety. "Kaelynne I left the braclet in the house can you grab it please" I said. "Yes I'll be back a soon as possible".

        (Kae's POV) I ran back to the buses with the braclet and saw the bus Anthony (An) was on had just left. I started sprinting for it. I saw An in the window banging telling them to stop the bus. I fell to my knees knowing I would never see my brother again. I have failed him. I must get to him.

       The army made all the adults that were left go into a small room and told everyone about the silencers. Some guy pulled out his gun. He shot and started a riot, everyone shooting at everyone. At that moment dad saw me through the window and BOOM! He was shot right in front of my eyes. He was dead. I had no one left.
 
        It turns out the army General was a silencer and didn't get killed and made everyone kill them selves. I ran for life after grabbing my dad's pistol and 10 rounds of ammo. The sileners started looking for people who may have survived so the can kill them. I was all alone. I didn't know what to do. But I ran. I ran as far as I could.
