Miracles

It was quite the show to watch Eren kill titans.

It was like watching a master kung fu master fight a group of kids that though they were strong.

No, you take that back.

Eren was in no way a kung fu master. Maybe just an apprentice, but definitely not a master.

You flew around him and worked your way back to Levi. Killing a few titans while you were at it.

As you went to slice on, you pulled your blade to close to you face, cutting it.

It wasn't a deep cut, but it stung like hell.

Blood dripped down your face as you flew on, eventually getting back to where Levi and what looked to be a little more than half the people you started with were.

Well, what did you expect when you're put right against the wall.

"Where have you been?" Levi asked when you landed next to him.

"Over here, over there." You answered. "Just playing around with the titans."

"This isn't something you can just toss aside." He said back in his normal monotone voice.

"Yeah, yeah. But if the stupid king would get off his fat ass and start making a plan for when this happens, no one would have to panic and less people would die."

"True."

You looked down upon the destroyed houses. All the blood stained, scream stained beams of the once lively house, now burning or broken to bits.

You watched as a abnormal came running towards a group of MP's.

The titan was catching up fast.

Levi got ready to take off and get it, but you stepped off first.

You flew faster than the MP's so it was no challenge to get to the titan and kill it.

While up there you noticed a woman huddled in a corner. She was holding onto something.

You dropped down to her.

"Sitting and waiting to die is just going to make you wish you didn't when you're in the hands of a titan." You said, walking up to the woman.

She was holding onto the body of a dead child.

"I've got nothing left to lose." The woman said, choking on her own tears. "My childs dead, and my husband probably is too."

"Probably?" You asked, crouching down next to the woman.

"He was out getting meat in town when the wall came down."

"Well then." You said getting up and picking the lady up bridal style. "He might still be alive."

The lady didn't try to fight you as you took to the skies once more.

"You wouldn't understand." The lady said.

"Understand what?"

"What it's like to lose a child."

"Now that, I can't say I do. But I have lost my mother, if that's anything like it." You said.

"How young were you?" The lady, now ceriouse, asked.

"Hm." You felt a jab of pain at the loss of the memory.

"12." You said as the memories came flooding back to you.

The lady smiled. "Yeah. I must be similar."

You started descending as you reached to wall.

You dropped to the ground and let the lady down.

She looked around, a little shaken from the flight.

She stopped looking.

A man was running around, desperately looking for someone.

The woman took off running toward the man.

He stopped looking when he saw the lady running to him.

She jumped at him, almost knocking them both down.

Miracles rarely happen.

You turned and flew into the sky.

But something will always go wrong.

Hey guys! Chapter 30 is finally here! To be honest with you, I didn't think this thing was going to get past 20 chapters. But here we are at 30 chapters and the good part of the story hasn't even happen yet. I'd say that we are about half way into the story by now, because I don't want to make it abnormally long. Also, we have 400 views! That's fucking awesome considering that this is my first story. So that's all I have to say, BYE!
