After you had gotten all the kids rounded up, you brought them back to HQ.
Most of them were little toddlers. There were only two older ones that looked like they were about 10 or 11.
One was a boy and the other was a girl. The boy had longer brown hair with brown eyes well the girl had blond hair and green eyes.
They both looked like they had just seen death himself.
Erwin was talking about taking them into questioning in a few days.
You highly doubt they would talk after what had happened.
You had to take care of the kids for awhile.
Just until you could find a place where they could go.
The toddlers seemed to completely forget what had happened and went around playing with the other cadets. They cased the cadets around and tackled them. They didn't know.
The two older ones tried to make the problem better by telling each other jokes and laughing at the cadets.
-1 hour later-
You had finally gotten all the kids into the cafeteria (WHAT THE FUCK IS THE ROOM CALLED?!!?) to eat.
They bounced around and didn't bother listening.
The cadets paced food around to the kids.
They were so messy.
Welp. Just one more reason to go looking for people in trouble.
You sat down next to Levi and didn't really eat but more sat there and watched Levi.
The way he twitched every time another pile of food fell to the floor was amusing.
Hange seemed to notice it too, because she was desperately trying to not blurt out laughing.
Levi got up and left after a while.
Probably couldn't take it anymore.
You got up and started to leave.
"Hey Rose."
Jean.
"What."
"Maybe what to go play with the kids with me after?"
"Take a hint horse face."
The two older kids started laughing.
"Rejected!" The boy yelled.
You and a lot of the other cadets started laughing.
You walked out and made your way down to your tree.
You climbed up to the very top and watch the world go by.
Yuni came out after a while.
"Hey hothead!" She yelled up the tree as she climbed up next to you.
"So is that my new nickname?"
"Yeah. I think it suites you."
You both looked out into the distance.
"So. You like being the center of attention?" She asked.
"No, not really."
"Oh, come one! You could get any guy you wanted within a matter of seconds!"
"I'm not like that."
"Oh, right. You're the captains girl."
You glared over at her.
