chapter 9

today was the day.
Emil had called you two days ago saying he wanted you to be outside standing on your porch at 7pm tonight, it is currently 5pm and you are stood in front of your wardrobe debating on what to wear.

you have known him for a long time yet you were nervous? how would the date go? what does he have planned?

after a few changes you finally decided on an outfit,
leggings, baggy blue-gray sweater and some converse highs. it was now 6:30pm and you still had a little bit of time to do your makeup, some light mascara with light sliver eyeshadow and clear lip gloss.

7pm and your waiting outside your door, admiring the view of the sunset. a few moments later you hear the sound of small wheels on the pavement nearing you, you look the way you heard the sound from and see Emil on a skateboard

"Emil? what's with the skateboard?" you asked in suprise. all this time you've known him you never knew he skateboarded

Emil laughs and takes your hand "here, get on"
he motions for you to step on the board, you do so with some struggle but with one hand in yours and the other on your waist, Emil makes sure you don't fall

"now all you do is push with one foot and try and keep your balance" he says as he lets go of you

you nod and do what he said. But as soon as you push of the ground you make it about 2 feet before you loose balance and land on the pavement with a small thud.

"y/n! are you okay?"
you laugh and dust yourself off
"yes I'm fine!" Emil chuckles

he stands in front of you, once again, taking your hand in his

"get on again, but this time I have an idea"

you nod again and get on with both feet flat on the board. Emil then begins to pull your hand so you are slowly rolling behind him and you smile

looking behind him Emil smiles
"having fun?"

you giggled and nod

"oh! I have another idea!"

Emil lets go of your hand and starts walking behind you
"be sure to keep your balance ok?" he then gets on the board behind you and very slowly starts pushing with his foot

"I'm flying jack!" you say behind a giggle

you hear a sigh and smile

Emil stops and gets off
"wanna try in your own?"

you shrug and he lets go of you and you try copying his moves down the street while he follows. when you think you've gotten the hang of things you try going a bit faster

but that doesn't go too well.

you feel yourself wobble a little before saying

"Emil I-" and you fell

"oh my gosh! y/n! are you okay??" Emil rushed to your side and helps you up

"yeah I'm ok" you shrug again and give him a reassuring smile

"here get back on and give me your hand"

you do as he says and he starts pulling you slowly again as you start to head home.

once you get there you invite Emil in for a cup of tea.

"wow you've got a nice house
y/n" he commented taking off his shoes

"thank you" you smiled going to the kitchen to get the tea ready
and Emil took a seat in the dining room

"do you got any movies?"
he asked getting up

"uhm yes I have a few just go into the cabinet under the tv"

Emil got up and walked to your living room

after pouring the tea you headed over there yourself just as he put (movie of your choice) in the DVD player and sat on the opposite end of the couch

"I don't bite" you teased

he smirked and moved closer, you rested your head on his shoulder making him blush, although you couldn't see it,
and the movie started

**TIME SKIP TO AFTER MOVIE**

*Emils POV*
the movie just ended and I look over at y/n and notice she is sleeping on my shoulder

not sure what to do, I lift her head slightly and very gently stand up before picking her up

'I hope she dosent wake up' I said to myself heading up the stairs looking for her bedroom.
once I found it I laid her under the covers and checked the time that read '11:55pm'

I think for a moment before sliding under the covers myself in hopes she won't wake up

I look over at y/n, who is facing me, and smile at her cute form before kissing her forehead and thinking to myself as I shut my eyes

'this date went better than I though'
