As we drove our bikes through the Zeta tubes a heavy feeling told me tonight was going to be strange; it'd be better than the day I had today.

A few hours earlier:

"Goodbye, Starfire," I told her with a slight bow as she flew away but stopped in mid-air and turned to me.

"I have to admit Dick; I thought she was the one." Wally sighed heavily crossing his arms.

"I don't know, Wal; guess my heart didn't feel anything for her," I confessed. Still, I'll miss those days when I have someone to see in the morning. Connor pats my shoulder with Wally wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

"There are always plenty of fish in the sea," Wally told me; I rolled my eyes.

"Speak for yourself you found a special one that's handy with archery." I teased.

Wally shrugged with a smile. "Hey, she caught me out of the ocean."

"How about a beer?" Connor suggested; I laughed at him. Connor wasn't much of a drinker considering his actual age but from his words he's gotten use to holding his liquor down when he goes to parties on campus.

"Nah, let's just go out for a ride," I added, the both agreed with a nod.

"You go on ahead; I'll just call Artemis that I'll be home late," Wally mentioned taking his phone out.

He's the lucky one out of all of us in the hero business; I thought as Connor, and I walked to where they kept Sphere.

"How's campus life?" I asked Connor; he smiled slightly.

"It's alright Wendy, and Marvin is in some of my classes."

"Have you ever tried making any friends on your own?" I questioned.

"Wendy and Marvin are more than enough and I got you guys in the team."

"What about dating?" Wally added while Connor gave him a death glare; it wasn't long since Me'gann and La'gann started dating.
