Chapter 8- Goodbye

The class gasped in shock as I said those few words.  I chuckled at my ex classmates’ face.

“But the Crescent Warriors are just legends,” Some snob stated.

“Well aren’t you just the dumbest little thing,” I sneered, rolling my eyes.  “We’re here to help Moonstone Eclipse with the rogues.”

“I hear rogues are like, the hottest kind of wolves ever though!” Slut #1 cheered, giggling to her friends.

“And I hear blonds are stuck up, bombshell, bimbo, sluts!” Maggie mocked, causing me to bite my lip to muffle my laughter as Slut #1’s face turned red.

“Redheads are lesbians!” she shot back.

“Nice comeback, Blondie, just answer my questions,” I sniggered.  “One, how do you know that? And two, are you mentally ill?”

“Why would you say that?!” She screeched.  “Wait till I tell my boyfriend!”

“And I can tell your boyfriend you watch lesbian porn,” Emeline snarled smugly.

Btw, I can break your boyfriend’s neck like this,” I snapped, breaking a pencil in half with my index and thumb fingers.  “So don’t mess with me.”

“Alright,” Mrs. Lorenzo boomed, glaring at us threateningly.  “One more snarky comment from you or your group, you will be joining the principle.”

“Yes, sir-er, ma’am,” Aaron snickered, smirking.

Mrs. Lorenzo moved on with her lesson, and I’m pretty sure we all zoned out.

“Class dismissed,” was all it took for her to say when we ran out of the room.

“Boringest.  Lesson.  Ever!” Maggie breathed out.  “No wonder you ran away!”

“Damn right,” I snorted, nodding in agreement.  “If I didn’t, I would still be stuck with her.

“What’s next?” Victoria asked, looking around.

“History,” I exhaled, groaning.  “I swear…I have the worst luck…ever!”

“Why?” Cassandra asked curiously as we entered the classroom.  I nodded my head towards two bodies at the other side of the room, who were lustfully making out.

“What the fuck did you do to the gods to make them curse you with that jackass?” Emiline said, very seriously.

“I have no fucking idea.” I murmured, ignoring the chest pain.  “But I must’ve done something.”

“You okay?”

“’Fine.”

“Cool?”

“Yeah.”

“You sure?”

“Yes, Cassandra, I am fine!” I hissed, glaring.  I clenched my jaw, taking a seat in the back.

“Take a chill pill, babe,” Cassandra defended herself, throwing her arms up in surrender.

I froze mid-step.
