Chapter 1-Rejection
Natalie's POV
Hey! You must be wondering who I am. I’m Natalie. My full name is Natalia ‘Natalie’ Campbell. I’m chubby and ugly, well that’s what people told me anyways. I have blonde hair, greyish blue coloured eyes, and pale skin. Anyways, this is the story of how my mate rejected me.
“Watch it, you idiot,” my brother, Daniel said, as he purposely bumped into me, and made me drop my books, falling to the ground. His friends snickered behind him.
‘Yeah, sure, I’m the idiot, I’m smarter than you bastard,’ I thought.
You see, I’m a nerd. Not always, but when I was 13, my mother died because of a rogue, and people blamed me for letting the rogue kill her, because I was there. I was, but I tried protecting her, but at the last minute, the rogue lunged at me, but my mother leaped in front of me, and the rogue killed her. I watched every minute of it.
“I-I-I’m s-s-sorry,” I stuttered.
“Don’t let it happen again,” Alex, my other brother, sneered, as our brother and his friend glared at me.
“Oh! And since it’s your birthday, you might want to wish, you’ve never been born,” Brittany, my sister, snickered, walking to us, with Damon and Beverly, my other sister, at her side. I stared into those once warm, sky blue eyes, now hard, dark blue eyes, and I instantly got lost in them. His eyes widened.
“Come with me, freak,” he forced.
“Where are you going with this bitch?” Brittany asked, as slutty as ever. My ex-friend and the twin’s best friend, Stella, snickered. Stella was one of my best friends before my mom died. She also blamed me now.
“I’ll be right back. Just need to speak to the pup, for last night’s party, she has to clean it up,” he answered. He turned towards me, and grabbed my arm roughly, and dragged me into the forest, as sparks shot up and down my arm. We finally came to a stop, he turned towards me.
‘Maybe he’s gonna claim us!’ my wolf, Adrianna, said excitedly.
“Okay look. I don’t want you as my mate, so. You’re just not…Alpha Female material, so I, Damon Clark reject you, Natalia Campbell, as my mate, I can’t have a weakling as my mate,” he said, smirking at the tears leaking from my eyes, as he rejected me.
“I, Natalia Campbell, accept your, Damon Clark’s, rejection,” I said, as my voice cracked. I turned and ran as fast as I could to the pack house.
I opened my closet door, as I pulled out my suitcase. I packed all my clothes, credit cards that no one knows about, my shoes, laptop, and basically everything I have. I checked my watch and see it’s already 3:30.
‘They’re gonna come home soon,’ I thought. I got a piece of paper and wrote a note.
Dear my so-called pack,
You finally got your wish. I’m leaving. After getting rejected by my mate, I decided to finally leave. I got abused, teased, and more. I always thought you guys had some good left in you. I guess I was wrong. If you try to find me-which I doubt will happen-don’t bother. Whoohoo! I’m finally free from this hellhole. Bye! I WON’T miss you.

That should do it. I heard the front door open, and my brother calling for me. I quickly put the note on my bed, got my things locked the door, and jumped out the window. I heard my brother, yelling at me to open the door, but I was already gone.
Daniel’s POV
“NAT! We’re home and hungry!” I called up the stairs. She didn’t come down. “NAT!” I warned. Still no answer.
“I’m gonna go get my sister, to make some food,” I called, walking up the steps.
“Nat!” I screamed kicking down the door. Nothing was in the room. NO - THING. I found a note on her bed and opened it. It read;
Dear my so-called pack,

I screamed, and heard people coming up to the room.
“What’s going on?” Brittany asked, concerned. She looked around the room and gasped. Her eyes stopped at the note. She read it and tears were cascading down her cheeks. She handed the note to the others, and they read it. We were all frozen. I had failed my mother, to protect my sister no matter what.
Brittany’s POV
Just ten minutes ago, we found out Natalia ran away. Ten minutes ago, we got back from school, we were hungry. Daniel went upstairs to get her, and then he screamed. We ran upstairs, and saw my brother was frozen in shock.
“What’s going on?” I asked, concerned. I looked around the room and gasped. My eyes stopped at the note on the floor. I read it, and felt tears cascading down my cheek. I handed the note to the others. They read it, and now frozen. For some reason, Damon is the most heartbroken one, out of all of us.
“Wait! Her phone!” Bev exclaimed. I quickly got my phone out and called her. She answered on the 3rd ring.
“Hello?” she asked.
“Nat, come home, NOW!” Daniel demanded.
“I’m sorry, who is this?” she asked, I could hear the smirk on her face.
“Stop playing your games,” I ordered. “But if you really don’t know, It’s Brittany, Beverly, Damon, Daniel, and the others.”
“Who?” she said, trying to sound innocent.
“Your siblings and pack members,” Damon said, rolling his eyes.
“What are you talking about? My siblings and father died with my mom. And I don’t have a pack,” she said ‘innocently’. We ignored that.
“Where are you?” Bev asked.
“It's none of your goddamn business!” she shouted.
My jaw dropped. She NEVER cussed. “I explained every thing in the note, sisters and brother dearest. Bye!”
“PACK MEETING!” Daniel said, shaking in anger, as Nat hung up. We ran to the meeting room, as everyone joined in.
“What happened?” Dad asked.
“Natalia ran away!” I yelled.
“Oh god,” Dad replied. “What happened?”
“She’s tired of the slavery, abuse, and meanness. And she told us in this note, she found her mate, but got rejected,” Daniel replied, looking down guiltily.
“Send out trackers, FIND HER NOW!” Jared-Damon’s dad- ordered.
“Why? Leave her alone. She deserves to be dead,” Stella said, rolling her eyes.
“Shut the hell up, Stella!” Bev screamed.
