~Y/N's P.O.V.~
I'm currently reading a book in the central room peacefully since it's just 4:25 in the morning and everyone's probably sleeping since the wake-up alarm is at 8:00.
Then, I heard footsteps coming. I hid behind something and since we have a big sofa I hid there.
I peeked out a little to see who it was...
Newt.... Gaaaahhh!!!!!!!
Is this real?? It's probably not bexause he usually get's up at 7:25 and he slept late last night, too.
"Don't hide. I can see you." He said while he sat down at the floor on a far distance from the sofa.
"Oh, uhm. Yeah. I wasn't hiding." I excused and returned back to my seat and fixed myself.
"Morning." He greeted. Remember that we had a some sort of fight? We aren't usually like this.
"M-morning."I stuttered. I held my book to my face and pretended that I was reading when I am actually sneaking glances at him. He's staring at the floor. The part of the floor when we... had a little misunderstanding.
Awkward silence...
"Sorry." He apologized while looking at the floor so in other words his bowing.
"A-about what?" I asked. The hell, why am I stuttering?
"About that time. Y'know." He said while still bowing with full sincerity in his voice.
"Ah. That."
"So. Can you f-forgive m-m-me." He stammered nervously while looking straight to my eyes. He's sincere.
"Sure. I mean, it's just a little incident. No biggie." I said and forced a smile. But really, it wasn't a little incident. We made a scene there. With many, slintheads watching us.
"Oh, ok. So, are we back to normal now?" He asked.
"Yeah. Why not?"I smiled.
~Newt's P.O.V.~
"Yeah. Why not?"
I looked to her and asked "Really?"
She smiled and nodded. I love it when she smiles. It completes me. By just merely seeing her smile at me makes my day.
"Hey, Newt! Newt boy! Newton!" She called but it wasn't clear. She says my name beautifully!
"Lizard, ey!" She called then waved her hand at my face. "Earth to Newt the lizard!"
"Lizard?" I asked in confusion.
"Yeah. Based on this book, a Newt is an amphibian. Lizard." She informed and I noticed the book she was holding. She is clearly smart, huh?
"Oh, ok." I agreed.
"So, now that we've had a closure in our incident reaction whatnot. What do you want to do?" She asked. Yeah, maybe we should at least entertain ourselves since everyone is still asleep.
"Maybe we could.... talk?"
"Talk about what, exactly?" She aaked with her arms crossed pretending to be impatient but I can see through her. Not that I'm aasuming anything but I know we have the same feeling about talking out of boredom.
"I don't know. What do you want to talk about?" I asked uncertained.
"Hmm, let's talk about the famous saying Forgive & Forget." She nodded. I know I have heard about that before but, still, I can't quitely remember where I've encountered that saying. Trully splendid!
"You want us to reflect on that? Or something?" I asked. I'm not really very well in these stuff.
"Exactly!" She exaggerated while half-shouting since we don't want to wake up the deep slumber of our valuable shanks.
"So, what do you think of the word 'Forgive'?" She asked enthusiastically. She's really having fun but I can't blame her. She somehow loves explaining. Sometimes.
We talked about our opinions until everyone was woken up by the alarm.
"Hey, guys. Morning." They all greeted at once.
"Morning." We greeted back.
"Have you...?" Sonya pointed and I looked at Y/N and it seems that they understand each other and she smiled cheerfully.
"Your ok, now?" Minho questioned and we both nodded. "Proof?"
"What?"
"Proof that your good now. Any suggestions from you, guys?" He asked the shanks behind him.
"Hug!!" They all shouted in sync. They cheered continously repeating the word so we had no choice but to obey.
We hugged each other.
Her scent calms me and I don't know why. I want to stay in this position a little longer but I personally know it's getting awkward so we pulled off.
I hope I experience that hug again. Just longer and tighter.
