I waited for my mother to get dress and we headed out my father drove us to the office and waited for me outside in the car. I walk in and head to the front desk and give my name and why I was there. she smiled and show me to the HR department inside the room was so fancy but had a relaxing feel about it. The lady that interview me came out and hug me right away and we headed to her office. She give me a hand book and called in someone to find me some uniforms for work then I had to sign some papers. The lady she ask to find me uniforms came back in with uniforms and some extra things in her hand for me I happily take them and place them in my lap. Me and the women talk some more and she show me pictures of the family that I was taking care of the children for the parents.
After a few hours we say our good bye and I left and wave good bye to the lady at the front desk and she smiled and wave back. I got into my father's car I show my parents my uniform ' That uniform doesn't look like a uniform anyone should wear to work' my father comment and drove out the parking lot. My smile smiled at me " you did great baby girl I'm proud of you" my mom told me.
" can you drop me off at a car dealership?" I ask my father
" I don't have time to look at vehicles that you cant afford and I'm not buying you anything" my father say
" No Its not that dad, the company gives all its employees vehicles' I told him
" okay" my father say sounding angry
we had a few miles to go since the office was out of the city we finally got to a car dealership and I got out and walk inside. I waited for my mother and father my mother hug me tightly and we walk hand in hand inside the car store. A worker walk up to us " Hey can you help me I'm looking for a land rover I would like to buy" I told the man he looked like he was in his 50s but I could be wrong.
" what!" my dad shouted
" you cant afford that get someone cheaper a use vehicle" my dad say
" honey she can get whatever she wants " my mother told my father and slap his hand
The man look at us then smiled " do you have land rovers?" I ask the gentleman he smiled and nod his head " this way please" he directed us to an area.
"can I please talk to you for a moment?" I ask the sales man
we walk away from my parents" I'm sorry about early, you see my company give me this check to pay for any vehicle that I want' I told the sales man.
" are you from the TS company " the gentleman ask I nod my head " why didn't you say so earlier?" the sales man ask.
"lets go into my office and get the paper work done" the sales man say and I follow him into his office which was ac like the rest of the store. He handed me papers to sign of course I read through them then sign. He smiled " your the first person I ever meet that read the paper before signing it your a smart young lady" the sales man say and I smiled he take the bank check from me and told me give him a min.
After a few seconds he return with keys and some paper work for me to keep he told me that the company was paying fully for the vehicle and I didn't have to worry. I thank him and he directed me outside to my White land rover.
'what's going on?' my father ask
"sir you daughter just bought her first car" the sales man say and smiled
