Maryam was sitting on the bed, looking at the wall and still pondering about what Raeed said to her, Raeed's parents is going to come here next week and she have to tell her parents that he was not the right choice for her. "Kuch khaa k nahi ayie t0 ajao, main khana laga deti hun." Mrs Sethi entered the room and said, she glanced over her. "No mom bhook nahi hai." Maryam replied lowly, still looking at the wall.
"Sab thk hai naa, jb gayin thin t0 khil rahi thi ab chehre pe srf parishani ka naam hai." Mrs Sethi said and stepped in towards her daughter and sat beside her on the bed. "Kyaa hua?" Mrs Sethi asked softly, placing her hand on Maryam's hand. "Nothing mom, I am fine, everything is fine, My life is fine. " Maryam replied, looked at her mother with a smile and Mrs sethi also smiled..
"Ye kahin rishte se related to nahi?" Mrs Sethi asked firmly and frowned. "Actually Mom, main Raeed se mili." Maryam told her lowly and looked away from her.
"Kyaa? hamain btaye bagair, ptaa haina tumhare dad kitna gussa karenge." Mrs Sethi asked and Maryam started to looking at the wall. "App log mana karoge tabhi t0 nahi bataya, mujhe khud janna thaa use." Maryam replied firmly.
"T0 ab ye bhi btaa d0 baat kyaa hui?" Mrs Sethi held Maryam's hand in her hand and asked softly. "Mom main bohat confuse hun, wo ek ameer ghar ka larka hai magar kuch nahi karta, main kuch banna chahti hun or wo srf batain karna janta hai, kyaa banega hamara." Maryam said and looked at her mother, a little bit of confused expression was on her face and Mrs Sethi narrowed her eyes. "Kyaa? per tumhare father ne t0..." "Father ne jo kaha, wo Raeed k father ne jo unhe btaya wo thaa." Maryam said cutting her and Mrs Sethi completely startled..
"Main baat karti hun tumhare father se aaj hi." Mrs Sethi said in a rush, got up from the bed and Maryam looked up at her face. "Nahi abhi kuch nahi kahen, mujhe aur time dain sochne k lie." Maryam said, her gaze was fixed at her mother and Mrs Sethi stood remain quite for a moment.
"Okay! Kuch khana hai? tumhari favourite Biryani banayi hai." Mrs Sethi asked, winked at her daughter and Maryam grinned. "App jao main aati hun." Maryam replied and both of them smiled looking at each other.
Maryam got up from the bed, stepped towards the mirror, a little bit of moisture was in her eyes, she remained quite looking at herself than turned towards the door and left the room..
After she came back in the room, she hurriedly headed towards her bed and picked up her phone placed on the bed, there was a message on her fb messenger, it was Raeed, she tapped on his name blinking on her phone. "Janaab main apko ek baat btana t0 bhool hi gaya, app kafi km bolti hain wese." She read it in her voice and a little smile appeared on her face. She looked away from the phone and started to think whether she should reply or not, She didn't reply and suddenly her phone started to ring, Farheen's name was flashing on the screen, Maryam didn't attend it either and turned her mobile off and went to sleep..
The next morning, She went to the university early and after the class she and her friend Farheen was sitting on the grass of the university park..Maryam told her everything what Raeed revealed yesterday..
"Sorry, it is out of the context but you didn't even tell me about ur cafe myth but you told him, what type of friend are you?" Farheen said, glaring at her, her expressions were serious and Maryam gave a fake smile than said sweetly "Sorry!"
"So you are not going to marry him?" Farheen asked, her expressions turned normal and Maryam looked away a little longer than said "Of course not, he is not that perfect person that I really wanted for me and for my family.."
"Tu phr mera number dedena use." Farheen bend down towards Maryam and whispered, She than winked at her while moving herself backward.. "Haan phr wo tumhara number dusre larkon ko dedega.." Maryam said, narrowed her eyes and Farheen giggled..
