Straight or Nah?!

New day new start!

Its my first day of this new school, I got out of bed and stretched like everyone does. I slipped my cold feet in my white fluffy slippers and walked down the stairs to see my mom who has made me breakfast.
"Good morning hunny" My mum said while getting a glass of orange juice out of the fridge.
"I'm so tired" I said yawning.
"Well that's your fault, if you weren't trying to find what to wear" my mum said as she placed the pancakes on my plate.
Before I took a bite I replied with,
"Well at least I found something".
I was wearing a plain white t-shirt with a black and white checkered shirt over the top (unbuttoned), my favourite dark jeans and lastly my brown boots.
"Well you better start getting ready to go". My mum said as she left the room and got my school bag.
"CRAP IM GOING TO BE LATE".
I grabbed my school bag and my phone and ran out the house and ran to the bus stop.

I arrived at school just in time.
"Few" I say sweating.
"Welcome class to year 9, I would like to introduce a new member to this class ...her name is Olivia Rose. Well Olivia you can sit next to Ava".
I looked around to see a hand that has shot up at the speed of light.
"Hi Olivia I'm Ava"
"Hi....." I say weirdly.
"Where did you move from?"
"Texas" I reply while getting my school book out.
"The spectacular now ey?"
"Yeah it's a good book" I say smiling.
"I've already read it".
"What did you think" I say interested to see what she says.
"I love it, it's one of my favourites".
The bell rings and it was time to go to class.
"You have English with me!" Ava said excitedly. She grabbed my hand and dragged me to my class.

It was the last lesson (R.E).
"I guess I will see you tomorrow".
Ava says as she starts to pack her bag.
"You have really pretty eyes" I say.
"Thank you, everyone says that!"
"It's a nice shade of blue".
The bell rings and its time to leave to go home.
I call my mum to tell her I just left school and that I will see her in 30mins.
I run to the bus stop and I start to think.
She was really pretty. Her eyes were a pure blue...like me...she loves to write....like me....she loves athletics....like me! I wonder if ......no she isn't.
As I was kinda day dreaming the bus came past and I missed it.
"ARGHHHHH" I grabbed my bag and started walking down the road.
Wow now I have a 1hr walk home! (I say in my head)
"OLIVIA WAIT UP"
I turn around to see Ava running to me. My mind starts thinking again.
CRAP DONT MESS UP
"H...I"
Wtf was that
"Okay?" Ava laughs.
"How come you haven't gone home yet it's freezing?" I say while looking down at the pavement.
"I had to return a book".
"Oh okay"
All of a sudden I felt a rain drop on my nose, I look up and one fell into my eye.
I started blinking like crazy.
"Are you okay?" Ava asks.
"Yeah I'm fine". I say while my vision is coming back.
"Stupid rain". Ava says waving her fist at the sky.
"Do you want my jacket" I ask while taking it off.
"Thank you" Ava says hugging me.
Errrrrrmmmm okay
We continue to walk till we came to her road.
"Here's your jacket" Ava says as she gives it to me.
"Thanks, I will see you tomorrow" I put my jacket on which is soaking wet but who cares.
I walked down the road and turned left to see my house.
I opened the door and dropped my bag.
"Wow your soaking" My mum said laughing while taking my jacket off.
"I'm going to go and have a bath now".
I run upstairs and fill up the bath until it's done. I get undressed and put my uniform out to dry.
As I was in the bath my mind was over thinking yet again.
Wow today was weird. Ava is like me.
I can't wait to see her tomorrow. I wonder what else we have In common.
I get out of the bath after soaking in it for half an hour.
I got my book out of my bag and started reading.
After reading like 56 pages my eyes started feeling heavy so I put my book down and switched my lamp off and went to sleep.
I wonder what tomorrow will be like....
