Love

Why?

Why do we, 

The people of Earth,

Always obsess over the emotion Love. 

This is an emotion,

That is associated with,

Music, 

Books, 

Movie,

And even our own lives.

Why is it so powerful?

The way it affects our lives,

And makes us believe that it,

Is the only thing that matters.

We, the people, think that Love,

Is stronger than iron,

Is a strong form of medicine, 

Is worth more than money.

Maybe,

It is.

It makes happy,

Sad,

Angry,

Embarrasees,

And even psychotic.

The insanity caused by Love,

Is rare. 

I have gone insane because of it. 

And it was worth it I guess. 

But to claim it's worth and strength,

Would be like claiming something impossible to explain. 

We associate the word cliche,

with Love, among other things. 

The word cliche has no real meaning. 

That is why Love is important but also,

Destructive. 

To Love is to take risk and,

Possibly lose everything but then,

Gain everything. 

As Lyndon Johnson once said, 

We must love each other,

Or die. 

That is not entirely true.

But it is close enough.

Death isn't a punishment for Love. 

Nothing can be a Punishment.
