Chapter 10

Joey POV
I was shocked, how could he be so dumb? He has Abby! I lectured him in a low voice to make sure Abby didn't hear us.

He had his head in his hands muttering to himself. We both paused when we heard footsteps coming our way.

"Come on guys" Aspens voice said from the door way, "what did you's do?" she groaned looking at our slightly panicked faces.
"Hey!" i said my hands in a mock surrender "Not me, him!"
"Explain" she demanded sitting down

"Really?! how stupid could you be or Naveah?!" "I know, I know" Tayler said disappointed in himself. "Wait" I paused "Abby and Naveah are down stairs...together" "Shit"

We ran down the stairs, only to see them watching the TV awkwardly. We sighed in relief sitting down to watch Mean Girls as well while Aspen dragged Naveah out the room.

Aspens POV
Once I'd dragged Naveah out, I slapped her silly. "OW!" she protested.
"you deserve it you idiot!" "what are you talkin... ohhh shit how'd you know' "Tayler"

We were  by the knock on the door, we looked at each other confused. Joey went to open it, A tall blonde girl appeared with a bright smile on her face. "Jade!!" Joey squealed. Yay! here we go again.  Watching them hug brought back the feeling in my stomach. Jealousy. Pure Jealousy.

I almost literally face palmed as Joey introduced her as his cousin. I need to sort this out, these feelings. Why do I feel so jealous when he's with other girls? i don't like him. I don't! I can't, he broke my heart, I won't let him do it again. I felt bad for the girl, because I might of been glaring at her for the last two minutes...

"Hey, My names Aspen and this is Naveah." we greeted her with warm smiles. I was taken back when she embraced us with hug but slowly relaxed, getting the opinion I liked her already. Once we separated she said "Hi, my names Jade"

We spoke for a bit at the table, talking about random things, getting to know each other. "errmmm guys, can Jade stay in our guest room for a bit. Only till she gets her own place?" Joey said quite shy and awkward.
"Sure" we said simultaneously. Joey smiled brightly, I couldn't help but smile back. Stop it Aspen! Get a hold of your self!
