"Well she's not gonna make it" the doctor said as I stared at him, trying not to cry.

"Well do you know how much longer she's gonna be?" I asked the doctor. "Well she has approximately 48 hours left" the doctor said. "Well can I go and see her please" I asked as the doctor nodded their head.

So I entered Imogen's room as I look at her and she's hooked up to all these different machines. I started crying. So I stayed the night, I wanted to be there for her last breath...

I woke up the next morning, and she's was still breathing and also still hooked up to a million different machines. I was hungry so I headed to the hospitals cafeteria. I headed down two floors and walked to the cafeteria. They had breakfast there so, I got a few pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, and toast then I headed back to Imogen's room. When I got upstairs and opened the room door, I looked at Imogen's heart rate machine and her heart wasn't beating anymore. I dropped my tray of food and ran down the hall to get a nurse.

I ran down the hall a few minutes and I found Imogen's nurse. "Ma'am my girlfriend has no heart beat, you have to help her please" I said almost out of breath from running. So me and the nurse ran to Imogen and she called the doctor.

I waited over 4 hours to find out if she was going to make it or not. But the doctor came out of the room... "Sorry honey we tried all we could but, she didn't make it" he said as he hugged me and I started crying. "Can I have some time to myself" I asked. So I headed into the room that my girlfriend was in and gave her a hug and started crying again. "I'm sorry Imogen, for everything, I should have forgiven you sooner but I didn't, I'm so sorry...." I say but then I hear a voice. "What are you sorry for Violet?" As I lifted my head I realized that she wasn't dead, she was alive! "Oh my god, Imogen your okay, your alive but how they told me you were dead" I said as I hugged her. "Well I guess they were wrong" Violet said. "Let's get out of here and finish our date" I said smiling at Violet.
