Ashton sat on his bed, finishing the quick sketch of the ice cream cart he had taken a picture of on my way home from work. He hadn't seen it before so he assumed it had just been set up, but he thought it was a cute little cart with all of the little kids running around it with their ice cream.
Ashton smiled in content when it was finished, it wasn't his best work but he thought it looked decent. He took pride in his work and knew when it was good, and when it wasn't. He closed his sketchbook and set it aside. He stood up and slipped on his shoes, deciding to go on a walk through the small town he lived in. He grabbed his camera and left the house.
It was the end of September, and he loved the cool weather joined with the crunch of the leaves under his worn Converse. (a/n they live in a small city outside of chicago so america weather and seasons) He slipped in his earbuds and listened to the soft sounds of the 1975.
He hummed along and looked down at the ground but looked up upon hearing someone walking near him. He was met with a blonde headed boy wearing all black and walking fast down the sidewalk, not daring to look up from it. He seemed upset and fragile but Ashton found him breathtaking, so quickly he brought his camera up to his face and snapped a picture of the blonde boy, thankful that his shutter wasn't loud enough for him to hear.
The boy quickly rushed past Ashton, making him frown because he wanted to meet his gorgeous boy but he continued on his way and continued to think about him the rest of the night.

It was two days later when Ashton saw him again.
He had just walked into the small coffee shop he worked at, when he saw him there sitting in the corner nursing a coffee.
Ashton thought he looked beautiful, breathtaking. He probably looked like a creep staring at him, but he couldn't take his eyes off the boy.
"Oh hey, Ashton!" He snapped back into reality as he heard his name being yelled. He turned away from the blonde boy and came face-to-face with his co-worker/best friend, Calum. He shot his friend a smile and proceeded to the back where he stored his bag while he worked. Ashton quickly stopped to let the kind girl that had been working know that she was free to go, and walked up to the register where he was met with a gorgeous blue eyed blonde. His breath hitched as he made eye contact with him.
"Uh, h-hi. What can I - uh - get for y-you?" Upon hearing the honey blonde nervously stutter the words out, Luke's lips curled into a small smile. You wouldn't have noticed it if you weren't really paying attention to him, but Ashton was and seeing Luke smile made him smile, 5 times wider.
Luke quietly replied, telling the blonde he simply wanted a wild berry smoothie. Ashton smiled when he heard his answer, because this boy was so freaking cute.
