"What?!" the girls shout.
A fireball rushes towards them, and they barely jump out of the way.
"Oi, you trying to kill us?!" Convela yells, leaping above another. It hits Lissy behind her.
"LISSY!" Azia shouts, rushing over to her friend's side. The rest of the girls turn their glares to Toriel before them.
The setting fades back to black and white, with their souls floating in front of them. Lissy's heart has a huge crack running down the middle, and since her HP wasn't high to begin with, it's worryingly low.
Owl picks ACT, and tried to reason. "Tori, is this what you want? To harm us, just so we cannot leave?!"
The next attack falters.
Angel goes next, "We love that you saved us, and that you welcomed us with open arms, but are you not hurting us more here?!"
A few fireballs singe the girls' sweaters. None got hit.
SG was the last to speak. "We love you, mom! I was here the longest, but my friends are right! We need to go! Please!"
Toriel sinks to her knees, and the monochrome settings lighten back up to their original shades. "I'm sorry, my children. I did not mean to cause you pain..." The girls surround her in a hug, but Lissy seems like she can't move any more. "If it is what you wish, go. But be warned, the Underground outside the doors is dangerous. I have a friend who won't hurt humans, but 12 SOULs may be to good to pass up..... Go, my children!"
They walk past her, Lissy being supported by Azia and Phebs.
When they pass through the first set of doors, they notice the little yellow weed that greeted them the first day. "Howdy! Gee, your friend looks really hurt... I can help!"
Before the Squad can duck out of the way, pellets surround them, one for each SOUL. They try to dodge, but Lissy jumps in front of them all, taking the hit, shattering her own SOUL. The flash blinds the girls, and before they know it, they're outside the RUIN doors, Lissy dead in their arms and a patchwork SOUL binding them.

"We're sorry Lissy, sorry we couldn't save you, sorry that we weren't better friends, sorry we had to bury you under a tree so close to your death place. We'll miss you, Neko Witch," Pix solemnly speaks, standing atop a pile of rocks underneath an old pine tree with an inscription on it.
'Lissy Lies Here, Forever A Friend, Forever A Protector, Forever A Squad Member.'
They each take a piece from a shattered rock Willow found, and inscribe 'L' onto it.
With a last, tearful look upon her grave, the girls set forth. Angel, Owl, and Rose lead the way, Fairy, Pix, Phebs,and Azia following behind, and SG, Willow, and Convela bringing up the back.
