Fall Time

The Mission

  When we left off Grace and I had just found the glowing gear. We decided that I should pick it up. I slowly walked over and picked up the glowing gear. As soon as I touched it it stopped glowing and an image simmered in front of us. As a young women came into focus Grace and I knew exactly who it was. It was our close friend Maddie Wilson. Maddie  looked different though. She had her hair in a french braid down the side of her head, and she wore a long light blue floral dress. " Hello dear friends. I am Maddie Wilson from the future in her present body. I hope this makes sense to you." Grace and I both nodded. " Girls you have been chosen to lead this quest.". "What", Grace and I said in unison. "Can we have a minute?" I asked. "Sure thing." Maddie/ not Maddie said. " Grace should we expect this quest?". I wasn't sure what she would say, she still seemed in shock. Suddenly she spoke," I want to except! We won't get this opportunity every day. ". It took me a minute to decide. "Ok. Let's go tell Maddie we except.". With that we went back to Maddie who was holding the gear."So do you except girls?". "We except.".
