You & Me - A Story of Ragini and Laksh (COMPLETED)

Chapter 12

"Welcome to the fifth competition year. Happy that the best music academy and the best dace academy are participate on this competition. I'm the host for today's function. Let me introduce. Sahil Gupta. So before we start the completion let's introduce our juries..."

Lakh POV

I didn't listen to him. Why should I. I was just focused staring at Ragini. She looked stunning in that simple saree.  she changed her it! And she looks damn hot in that saree! Her smile made me burn. She didn't even realised it. She was so busy talking with Uttara.
"Now let's start the competition!" Everyone clapped. He announced the first group. It was from a musical academy. They made it ok. The next one was dance. They got that beat. I stood up from my place and went to the makeup room. Soumya was there. She looked into the mirror. She wisp herd something. I went to her. "And are you ready? Nervous?" She turned around. "I'm good. Ready to burn the stage and never nervous." She smiled.
Ritik ran to us. "We are the next guys." I got really nervous. This time it was really special.
First reason: baba was her and. Second reasom: complete family is here. Third, the last and the best reason: Ragini was here. Karthik and Nayan joined us. We made our check. "Guys let's do it!" We shouted together a yes.

Ragini POV

I think he is a little bit dumb. But cute. He sat a row behind me. I sat at the right side and he two seats at left. So he could see me. And I could see him also. We girls have  special eyes. Na ladies agree!? He stared so long at me I just wanted to go him but oh god no I couldn't.  O many guys! So I ignored and concentrated on Uttaras story.  Very interesting.  And when I looked behind he wasn't there. I was a bit disappointed. "So now the next group. This time from the dance academy and a special one. They were the winner of last year. So let's see what they have this year. Put your hands together for Laksh Maheshwari, Ritik Hashard,  Soumya Singh, Nayanthara Mahesh and Karthik Prakash." When I heard Laksh name my body tuned to the stage. My eyes were searching for him. Not me! My eyes! And finally I got to see him. He looks handsome. The music started. They started to dance. To move in every direction.  Every movement was mind blowing and Laksh pulled everything. I just grinned all the time. This was an amazing performance. They were at the end. And I could see how he looked at me. His smile his sparkle his happiness was just unbeatable. Everyone clapped. I was in heaven but Uttara whispered " come after another group it's our turn so come." She pulled me to the makeup room.

Laksh POV

So we got it! Wow everyone clapped and the jury's were looking like they made it good face. I was happy. I looked to my family. Especially to baba. He looked ok. And the best came always at last I looked to Ragini.  She smiled and clapped. And I just hope that this beautiful girl was looking at me.
We went outside the stage. First we hugged tightly in a circle after that we commented. We laughed and drunk lots of water.
I went fast lying to the changing room. And fatally went to the others. They appreciated me. I was really happy but I wanted a point of view of Ragini. But I couldn't see her everywhere.
"Now after that mind blowing dance let's move on to the music topic simplicity is their word. Two instruments in one two voices in one. So let's welcome Ragini Gadodia and Uttara Maheshwari on the stage." Both were coming. I looked at Ragini. She smiled and put her two hands together. She went to the place where a sitar was. She sat down and put the sitar on the right position. Took blessing. She looked at Uttara. And it slowly started. Ragini started to play. Uttara sang. Both were singing. This combo was just different. It was definitely Raginis idea. They ended together to play. The looked at the audience and I could promise she smiled at me.

Ragini POV

And it was on turn. Our name were called. We step out. My eyes were searching for baba, dadi maa and Laksh.  I searched them and smiled. I sat down looked at Uttara and she started to sing while I started to play sitar. Our combination was weird but for us it was such a nice experience. After minutes we got it. We smiled at each other. And before I went from the stage I smiled at Laksh. 
After few performances we waited for the result. "Now we want some of the participants on the stage. Let's start with the trio Sudha, Nia and Karan." Few seconds later "Ragini and Uttara"  we went to the stage. We looked at each other but Laksh smiled like a honey. "And as final group Laksh, Ritik, Soumya, Nayanthara and Karthik." They also came to us. "Now these participants were so good. From these seven groups we have to eliminate four. So let's start." Sahil looked into his paper. He read it and said very slowly. " I'm really sorry Tasha and Kajal you guys were eliminated. The next group is ..." I just hoped not us and Laksh group. But we have to win I mean Uttara and me. But a little corner of my heart said also that Laksh has to win too. I was confused.  "I'm sorry. This time it's pretty hard for us. Not four were eliminated just three groups. And you guys were the winners but we need our first second and third runner so I would call our three juries. Pls come on stage." They were coming slowly my heart beat so hardly. "So at the third place.."  I could not listen anymore.
