Ragini POV
I could feel and see it how uncomfortable they felt. I went to them and smiled, a big try to smile normally and naturally not a fake one. I tried my best but I could sense that I failed co
completely .
"Is everything okay maa?" "Sure Beta." My eyebrow moved up. She lied. "No You're not saying the truth to me mama, you can share it to me to. I... I heard your conversation so I think you should not act infront of me maa and Badi maa, please." "Laksh and bade Baba had a conversation that didn't went well at all beta. She looked down while speaking. "He dosing work in our business so he rewrote the company to him." My eyes got bigger. "Maa... why didnt inform me?" I went to her and hold her hand. "What did bade baba say?" "He wants to join him and they went now there and his expression look so good." "I'll talking to him later but bade baba did his wrongs. That wasn't nice of him." She looked to me. Alight smile was on her gorgeous face that sparkled from that lamp light. "He's stubborn like Laksh. What should I do?" She went slowly away from me and let me alone in the living room.
The time flew slowly. It was hard to have my brain in a calm way. The sound of steps were surrounded in the house I went with Uttara down the stairs and saw them coming back from work and Laksh looked really happy about it. His tiredness, his bloodshot eyes, his anger was visible in these seconds. He was angry and went without looking or responding the others up the stairs and closed the door very loudly. I tried to smile. "Bade baba, jaja si Adarsh bhaiya sit down I'll bring you something to drink."
"They're back..." "I know." "I'll give them just something to drink." "Good and Ragini Hoeneß your job interview?" I smiled hold her hand. "It went very well let's see if I'll get the work or not." With these words I went out of the kitchen with the tablet.
"Thanks Ragini. Where is Parineeta?" "Bhaiya, Parineeta bhabi went to the supermarket to buy some vegetables." "Ragini, you should talk to Laksh. He's stubborn." "Base baba, I'll talk to him but why didn't you ask about it?" "I think you should go and elk to him."
I was angry. Angry on me and angry on bade baba. I leant to respect others especially the elders but what was that I couldn't say anything. With fast steps I went to the room, opened it and saw Laksh lying on the bed. "Laksh..." His eyes were closed, the breath normal. "Laksh..." I went more closer and sat down, placed my hand on his forehead and went with my fingers trough his soft hair. He opened slowly his eyes. His eyes were red. He he took the other hand hold it tightly and looked at the wall. "I was happy." He started. "Happy that he accepted it but he couldn't accept that his son has other plans for his future. Always business. Nothing else. I thought that he finally after so many years understand me that I love dancing but I think he didn't understand it." "I'm so sorry Laksh..." he opened his eyes, had a confused look. "Why? Why are you saying sorry?" I laughed sarcastically. "He accepted my wish but couldn't accept his sons wish. What should I say? I wanted to talk to him but he denied. He's strong in his opinion... very stubborn." A sarcastic smile of him. "Oh yes." "Should I walk to him again. Again a try?" He denied, got up and went out of the room. I followed him.Laksh POV
The anger in me was in high top just because of a man. My father. Ragini talked to me and I felt relieved. I could share my thoughts with someone and it was her. My wife. She was right, as always. I had to face it. I should do it not her. It was a battle between a father and son and he knew that I would win it again. He could've won this time but now I'll correct it. I could feel that she was me following me.
"Baba." My voice was bestimmt,. I saw many eye pairs staring at me, especially my baba. Ragini stood behind me, a whisper that I didn't care that much in that moment. The hatred in my voice was visible and it should be. The full concentration was and it should be on me, Laksh Maheshwari. I felt a hand on my arm and felt not alone in these seconds but this Tuch of hers was not a I'm-with-you-don't-worry-just-do-it. It was a what-are-you-doing-Laksh!?
"I'm listening to you." His voice was loud but at the same time very calm. "I will not Espen on your so beloved office. Dot." "Nice. And for this sentence you made this scene?" He stood up and went few steps and stood the arm crossed. "Laksh, what are you doing!?" It was strange that she was behind me saying something. "Ragini, I know what I'm doing." I whispered back. I looked back to the others. "This could be a dramatic scene and it is just for your information but still it wasn't dramatic. I'm not a drama king. So back to it baba I'll not work in your company. You could have written it into my name but i don't have to work there." I good from on my face. "You can decide but the last decision is on me." Point for me. "Laksh. I'm your father and I'll take the decision in this house and..." "This is what I meant a year ago! Don't you understand that because of our amazing well thought decision make others disappointed. An example Adarsh bhaiya. He doesn't want to work in this office but as a good son he listened and is doing it." "Laksh shut up. It's enough. He just wants the best." "This is the point. He wants the best Adarsh. He things of him and his best company not the family. This is the point. Nothing else and please you know well that you hate it." Adarsh bhaiya tried to say something but was stopped by bhabi. "You're Right Laksh. He never wanted to work in his office but still he's doing it for the respect. The respect of a father. It hurts that you'll not get that what you want but this is the fate. Listen to your father." She stepped forwards but I stepped backwards. "Laksh..." A whisper of her mouth that made me to turn around. The grace she gave was something else. Her face was suddenly hard not soft. "I want to say something."
