Chapter 3

Just hearing your voice, brings a smile to my face everyday

Seulgi's POV

A week has passed and our dare was finished. We both killed Jung Ho Seok and Kim Tae Hyung after it

Joking... We only chased them around and kick them in their butt

"Kids, I'm going to set you in a pair for music project", our music teacher said

"It could be a boy and a girl, a girl and a girl and a boy and a boy", he said

Students started muttering and complained the teacher, "Can't we just find our own pair?"

"No, you can't. I want to see the teamwork and the talent of finding harmony between different people", he said

"I'm going to call one by one, come out if you hear your name"

Mr. Lee called one by one and some got their own friends. I don't wanna work with unknown people. God, make me a pair with people I know

"Kang Seulgi", I stood up from my place and went to the front of the class, patiently waiting to find out my pair

Wait, Jimin's name hasn't been called out yet

"Jeon Jungkook", Mr. Lee said. So, me and Jungkook is a pair?

Shit, It would have been better to be a pair with a person I don't know. He's going to be an annoying monkey

And, I hate music. The thing is I can't sing

"Yah, Jeon Jungkook! Try to concentrate, will you?", I yelled

"What song are we going to sing?", I asked

He got up from his bed, "I can sing any kind of song"

"Big Bang is my jam though", he said and started singing Bang Bang Bang extremely loud

"Yah! Quiet down, I thought my ear lobes are going to explode", I covered my ears

"So.... How's your singing? We've been together for like 17 years and I have never heard you sing, Seul", he said

"Can you now overcome your fear?", he asked hesitantly

I sighed, "I still can't, I guess. I still hate to sing"

When I was a kid, I had to sing and dance in the preschool. I was so shy that time. But, teacher asked me to, so I did. During the concert, I couldn't bear my nervousness and fear of crowd so I peed on the stage

I stopped singing and cried out loud which caused dad to run to the stage and carried me away from people

"Well... You're not alone now. You have me, and Jimin will hear you singing for the first time. Don't you want him to show your skill? Don't you want to make him impressed?", he said

"But", I sighed. "But, my voice isn't good"

"Yah! Why are you so down all of the sudden? Be confident, will you?", he said

He ruffled my hair, "This isn't concerned with your voice. If we could show a great teamwork and great harmony, then we can rule the music class. Jiminie would be impressed, don't you think?"

"Wow, Jeon Kookie! Since when you become so clever and hard working?", I said

"Since now? Well... I'm bad at every subject except music, physical education and arts. Music is my jam", he bounced in his chair
