Marco's P.O.V

"Star?" I asked. She seemed shocked because when I called her name, she jumped. Literally. My eyes widened at the normally shy and quiet girl. It's just that.. Never in a million years would I have imagined that Star would be at the snazziest party of the year. I just assumed she'd be at her house studying for some quiz.

"What are you doing? You can't just barge into a room like that! I could've been d-" She rambled, her face flushed.

"Making out?" I smirked, crossing my arms.

"What? That's not w-what I meant and you know it! I-I.." Her cheeks darkened as her sentence faded. My smirk grew bigger as laughter escaped my lips. She face planted on the bed with a sigh. Star mumbled something that I couldn't quite interpret, but it was still adorable to see her frustrated.

"I should've stayed home, at least I have Netflix at home.." She muttered, digging her face into a pillow. I cautiously stepped over to the bed and leaned against it.

"You'd rather be on Netflix watching some old TV show then hanging out with the Marco Diaz?" I joked, my heart aching a tad.

"Who said we're hanging out?" She asked skeptically, slowly re-positioning herself so that she was sitting. I sat down on the hard bed as well, now facing the beautiful blonde.

It took me a few minutes to come up with a snarky reply, but I eventually said, "Yeah, but it sure seems like it.." I teased. "A girl and a boy, both on the bed together sure seems like hanging out.." I wiggled my eyebrows and began to laugh. To my amazement, she laughed along with me. We sat there for what seemed like hours, talking and laughing.

"Okay okay," Star giggled, "Your turn! Tell me something that no one knows!"

I thought about it for awhile. I'd already told Star about my past as the "Safe Kid", I'd told her about my parents being pretty strange, and about... Well, about everything. Star knew what made me vulnerable, I had told her. And honestly, I didn't regret it. I knew I could trust her. It shocked me how close I could feel connecting with someone in such a short time. I knew everything about her. She knew everything about me. We knew each other. Not rumors, but truth. We could finally see each other now. Not for who we seem to be, but for who we really were.

There was only one deep dark nasty little secret that I hadn't told her. One secret that I knew, once I told her, she would never think of me the same. But, I wasn't going to lose. She had to know.

So, right then and there, at Janna's house party, on her brother's bed, I kissed Star Butterfly.

Hey guys! I'm sorry that this chapter is really short, but I have been so busy with school! It has consumed me! I've been getting really good grades so far, (not to jinx myself) and I haven't had an anxiety attack in over 5 days! Has anyone seen the sleepover episode of svtfoe? I GOT THE FEELIOOSSSSS! WHOOP!

Anyways, that's all my belugas!
