I reached the long spiralled staircase, from where I could see my mate standing down there. My wolf smiled and without thinking twice jumped thirty stairs down.
"Are you mad? We're puppy!"I shouted and she snorted, before landing on third step down. So she knew what she had to do. Again with three steps a time she reached him.
He was glaring behind us. It was like he was burning the boy with his rage. I turned around and saw Daniel standing stiff. He was scared and still. As still as statue.
My gaze flickered back to Josh, his jaw was clenched and his fists were balled. Why was he reacting so adversely?
"Who allowed you to bring dog inside?" Josh asked seething, I don't think that this could be some reason for anyone's temper.
"Mate is angry. We need to cool him," Rapunzel said and standing on rear paws, she licked his fist. He jerked us behind and the force was so strong that I landed two steps above stair.
"Throw it out!"
'No'
"No.."
"No!"
Three voices echoed in response of his order. I reacted afraid that my chance to be with him will over, and Daniel revolted because he liked me too much. But there was someone else who didn't appreciated his decision.
"Daniel take the puppy with you in your room." A lady of my age came elegantly down the stairs and bend down picking me up.
"Hi Elisa," she whispered inaudibly. It could only be picked up by me and my heart beat increased to that, 'how did she know my real name?'
She moved down handing me to Daniel, "few pasts should be left in past, isn't it Daniel?" She asked giving a sweet smile to Daniel and Daniel nodded scared. And like it was indication to Josh he left not before glaring me.
I was sticking to Daniel. His heartbeat was bursting my ears out, the little boy was too scared and so was I? What will happen if she told Josh my real identity...
I don't want to know. Oh god!
"What you named her, sweetheart?" The lady Vampire asked patting me. And I shifted back in Daniel's arm, in fear of her. She knows who am I.
"Bella Christopher!" Daniel chirped and she messed his head adoringly.
"So cute! Now take her to your room and I'll send someone with your as well as her dinner. And one thing keep care that she don't run away!" Anna warned him but it sounded a lethal threat to me. And my wolf growled but that came out as bark.
"Looks like someone is not much fan of me. But you are trapped here with me, ms Bella," she said and flicked my snout. I growled and she left from there.
Was that some indication? Hell now what?
